oooo i really like that approach. just looking at my record collection now and i cant wait to introduce them to my kids (hopefully) in however many years time :D im planning a bit of a cd splurge tomorrow so i might keep that in mind.

BDO has sold very very well. GC and Syd sold out already. sydney's 2nd show (i laugh everytime someone acts surprised at that) should sell out too. 2nd melbourne BDO should be announced by the time i go to bed tonight. ms lees and mr west will be very very happy and very very rich.

procrastination over the last 3 weeks meant that i only got 5hrs sleep over the last couple of nights. its a terrible feeling but that doesnt mean that im going to stop my procrastinating ways.

both are nearly faultless records. a rush of blood would be in my top 10 albums of all time so it's a clear choice but parachutes is my favourite album to listen to if im up after 2am (after maybe kid a)

first: RHCP on 19.04.2007 at the time this band was my entire life. i lived and breathed them. i didnt sleep much the night before and even less the night after. the band didnt play a lot of their hits but they played a song that they hadnt played in over 18yrs, that was pretty special. thankfully the band was in real good form that night and gave us a wonderful show. i havent listened to their music since john left :( last: Tame Impala @ uni 3rd time i saw them. best so far! they are getting better every year.

Perth is our Manchester or Seattle. despite being a tiny city the number of awesome bands that have come out of that region is phenomenal.

Christian Dior isnt too bad from the first listen. it clocks in at just under 7mins but unlike Lord Lord Lord it doesnt become boring at any stage. Kid Cudi adds a really nice touch to the track which has a few guitar rock elements which makes it far more enjoyable to listen to.

*facepalm* at fergie putting on oshea, anderson, macheda and owen instead of evra, berba, rooney and valencia or even hernandez. we were never going to win with that team on the field. and without rio and vidic at the back bent wouldve destroyed us. oh well theres always the second half of the season to play in....right....
