  1. whoops my bad. misread it haha. ah well biffy's cool.
  2. ^^ im very very pleased!! DLC are one of my fave young aussie bands. been a fan since 2008 when they released their debut EP so im happy i get to see them live finally.
  3. i recorded a radio broadcast their performance in Melbourne from back in july. i'll upload it to my bootleg thread soon.
  4. i loved Power but the remix with jay-z is even better!! Monster is a little too crude for my taste but it sounds pretty good.
  5. oh they were awesome!!! but unfortunately the crowd was shocking. the annoying teenage girls would not stop screaming. naturally all the screaming was directed at angus while julia was getting hardly any attention whatsoever. i'll admit ive always thought angus was the more valuable and talented half of the band. but from the start of the show my perceptions changed. i've always had a bit of a crush on julia but i had no idea she was THAT beautiful, i could hardly take my eyes off her. but thats just a small part of it. i always thought that angus did most of the work but really all he did all night was sing a few songs but not lead on as many tracks as julia, he hardly interacted with the crowd and when he did he was incomprehensible cos he was so stoned out of his fucking mind. on the other hand julia was everywhere and on everything! her voice was bang on, she played every instrument under the sun plus a few ive never seen before. she danced around very cutely and the best thing about it was that even though all the attention was on angus at the start by the end of the night we were all in awe at julia. they also played one of my faves, Babylon! great show
  6. seeing them tonight! hope to get front and centre :)
  7. U2 in Aus/NZ ticket prices Standing: $99.90 P1 Seating: $299.90 P2 Seating: $229.90 P3 Seating: $174.90 P4 Seating: $109.90 P5 Seating: $39.90 RED ZONE: $349.50 U2 are very smart. they know a large proportion of their fan base will prefer to sit rather than stand. a dodgy seating plan for the sydney show http://anzstadium.com.au/Libraries/ANZSdocs/U2_360_tour_seating_map.sflb EDIT: cool info for the sydney shows The groundbreaking configuration, which has no defined front which means the audience can watch from all angles, will see ANZ Stadium’s capacity grow to more than 90,000. The band’s 2006 Vertigo Tour lured 211,747 fans across three ANZ Stadium concerts, making Sydney the Tour’s biggest outdoor stopover outside U2’s home town of Dublin, Ireland. holy #(@)@
  8. so do most people think Antidotes is not as good as Total Life Forever?
  9. man wish all this election crap would finish already. i cant stand abbott being PM but i know gillard will be a crap PM.
  10. xx by The xx Teen Dream by Beach House
  11. heard of a bit of the children collide album last night. it sounds decent so i might check it out soon. also heard Sparkadia's jealousy which is one of my favourite aussie songs from the last few years. any news of a new album from them?
  12. there are really only handful of us regularly on WoM and we're mostly 20ish or younger so the triffids were kinda before our time. but you've tempted me to listen to more of their music.
  13. Wide Open Road is one of the greatest songs ever written. everyone person in the world must drive down a desert road (ideally Australian one) listening to Wide Open Road at least once in their lives, it is the best experience ever.
  14. another good track [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y1IycTKbZe8]YouTube- The Beautiful Girls - After all this time - Spooks[/ame]
  15. they were a great aussie band with their first couple of albums. then they turned shit with their 3rd effort so now they're back to being kiwi :D
  16. ^^ good question...................:S
  17. hmm so Muse are in brisbane on 5th and 6th. U2 are in melbourne on the 1st and probably 2nd and 4th. sydney on 9th and 10th. u2 are in brisbane on the 8th and will most probably just do one night there. melbourne 14th and 15th. U2 are in sydney on the 13th and will most probably do 3 nights but hard to tell in which direction. perth on 19th. U2 are there on the 18th. i will lose my shit if they did. but at the moment i'll put it at 100/1 chance. it's just too gruelling for muse.
  18. something tells me that the tickets for GA under the Claw will be a bit more the $100, i hope not but it seems probable.
  19. you arrogant pricks. this is the best drummer ever. if you dont agree with me you know nothing about music.
  20. seeing them on their Vertigo Tour wouldve been ideal for me because it wouldve meant i didnt have to endure songs from No Line. but with the Claw this time around it will be freken awesome still. has anybody got a full list of ticket prices. because 99 bucks for the best standing spots sounds way too good to be true.
  21. this is tragic news. he had a great future ahead of him. there are rumours going around that during their set he jumped into the crowd which caused the crowd to go a little crazy and this resulted in a girl being seriously hurt. i'm not sure what impact that may have had on the singer.
  22. Aus/NZ Tour confirmed Wednesday 1st December – Etihad Stadium, Melbourne Wednesday 8th December – Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane Monday 13th December – ANZ Stadium, Sydney Saturday 18th December – Subiaco Oval, Perth Tix on sale September 2 with more dates announced as shows sell out.
  23. i was really hoping for next february rather than this december. i have guns n roses on 5th, muse on 9th and now u2 on 13th a bit too packed in for my liking.
  24. i wouldnt have a clue which track is which lol i usually just press play on my ipod and let it go. i'll get back to you on that soon. when i listen to the album today i'll keep an eye on the tracklisting.
