Yes, yes, and yes! I'd love to hear some b-sides from this album (either that, or a rushed followup album with all the songs that didn't make VLV.)

I don't care what anyone says, "Fix You" is a great song and one of Coldplay's best. I've never seen them live before, so I really want to see them do FY on their current tour.

So I'm sitting here and listening to the new album, and I have to say that The Escapist just blew me away. I had downloaded the leaked version, but for some reason, this song never hit me properly until I had the actual album in my ipod. Chris's vocals are just amazing on this track. It's a great finish to a great album.

I love the whole album. I'm not crazy about Cemeteries In London, it's my least favorite, but I still like it.

I agree, I've heard all the Robbie Williams albums, and I only liked a few songs off of Rudebox. And especially not the title track - whoever told Robbie Williams he should rap needs to be hit on the head with a wet fish!

I think they changed the item at the last minute. I preordered the album, but I did it yesterday when the album (I think) had already been changed. Try contacting Itunes, they will sort it out for you, I'm sure.

Coldplay has never completely gone away from that sound, IMO. True, they added elements to their music that weren't there before in X&Y, but they still retained that classic Coldplay sound. Artistically, though, I have to agree with you. Coldplay haven't been this on fire in a long time.

Who is Little Wayne, anyway? I've never even heard of him (though, judging by people's reactions, that's probably a good thing...)

I don't see his comment as being offensive, he was just making a small joke. Who knows, Thom Yorke may even be a fan of Coldplay now, even if he wasn't then.

No artist has an album that everyone loves. Music is subjective, and you can't please anyone. Personally, I think this is one of Coldplay's best albums, but does that make my opinion better or less than yours? Of course not. I'm just glad that they put out a new album. :)

I didn't know there was an adult version and a kiddy version. Is the adult one the one in Hardcover? I'm a huge follower of the books and the movies, but I'm a much bigger fan of the books. They just leave too many things out of the movies that are essential to the plot. My favorite books in the series are The Prisoner Of Askaban, The Goblet Of Fire, The Half-Blood Prince, and The Deathly Hallows. The last book especially, I was on the edge of my seat when reading it.

The Filter album I mentioned above was listed as being shipped on the release date, but it was delivered on the release date. So I dunno...

I was wondering this myself. I was going to order the new album from Amazon, but I think I'll just go to Target or another store on the 17th, rather than risk not getting my copy on the release date. I got lucky with the new Filter album, it came in the mail on the release date. I'm not sure if all Amazon orders are the same, though.

VHV is at least a 4.5/5 star album, if not 5 stars. But since it's Rolling Stone reporting it, I'm not surprised.
