We're going to get it together and flower sounds random but really, it isn't. The entire song is about believing in yourself, not giving up and getting the best out of yourself. The vowel "to flower" fits in nicely with that theme. It basically means the same as to flourish, but it fits better within the song.

Right! I had some sort of brain fart and thought the Koning Boudewijnstation was in Antwerp. That should've been Brussels of course! And as far as the sound in the Amsterdam ArenA goes, you're absolutely right. It's okay, but that's about it. It's far from great. The sound in i.e. Gelredome, Ahoy and especially Ziggo Dome is much better, but they don't have the capacity to host (seats and field combined) 68.000 people.

Notice the little part that says "Download: Hymn for the Weekend, Fun, Everglow, Adventure of a Lifetime, Up&Up" at the end. Did they just reveal the other singles of the AHFOD-era?

They play Wembley on the 18th, Amsterdam ArenA on the 23rd and Olympiastadion Berlin on the 29th. I seriously doubt they're leaving those gaps between the shows as they are. I think they'll do a second Amsterdam ArenA show and one in Antwerp somewhere along those dates as well.

This is the one I've been waiting for! I hope I'm able to grab a couple of tickets, the ticketmaster waiting list is absolutely shit so I should be keeping my fingers crossed. And as far as the prices go, I don't really mind the increase. Coldplay are at a stage in their career where doing all the popular tracks within the usual 20 track setlist isn't possible anymore. So I'm hoping that this price increase means we'll have longer (26 songs or so) setlists.

What about Brian Eno? In the Radio X interview Chris mentioned that they still follow the guidelines he set for them and that Eno sings on the album as well.

I wouldn't be surprised if the entire Ellen audience got gifted the album through a download code that works from 4 December. Or perhaps even through a voucher that they can exchange for a physical copy of the album at Walmart, Target or some other large chain of shops. By the way, does anyone know how much in advance they usually shoot the Ellen and Voice shows?

I remember that during the GS leak hunting period, a shop called Blokker here in the Netherlands had GS in their flyer. They didn't mention the release date but the small print on the back said that the offers in the flyer were already valid. So I reported it in the thread and told people I would try to get my hands on the album. I went to three diffrent Blokker shops and when I came back empty handed, everyone in the thread went crazy because of the possibility that GS may leak and there were like 50 PM's in my inbox asking if my hunt was succesful. :laugh3:

Ah screw that, I didn't see the question mark there and for a minute I thought they were actually doing a CD release for Amazing Day. You just reminded me of one of the very few things dislike in this digital age: the lack of CD singles. As a music collector, I'd rather pay €5 or so for a CD single than €1,29 for a song on iTunes. I like the work though! Since the single cover for AOAL actually is a part of the album cover, this fits in really well. Perhaps change the font on the back to the one that Coldplay use and you're good to go!

They're not endorsing the Obama administration or the US government by doing this. They endorse Obama as a person. A black guy from a broken family who beat the odds to become one of the most powerful people in the world, yet still remains an approachable character, doesn't forget where he came from and isn't afraid to show his vulnerable side. The theme on A Head Full of Dreams is that anything is possible, and Obama is living proof of that. It's not an obvious choice, but it does fit in with the theme of the album
