I guess critics have specific criteria they use in order to rate an album, even though I have never understood them. I would really like to know if there is someone who agrees with the critics most of the times. I find myself wildly swinging as I can love an album critics love and at the same time an album they hate...go figure

I am happy it is on the album. I get your point about it being on the EP too, but I would definitely miss it in the album if it were not there. Seeing the track list, it surely looks like it is going to be the album dark song, so it´s part of the palette of colors Coldplay wanted to use for MX

I can hear a difference in music quality between different kbps, especially if they are low. The point however is that this is the limited deluxe edition, so I can not see why they could not give us at least a decent audio quality as a download. Other albums, like the new Noel Gallagher, will be available as downloads of the highest quality, even apple lossless, so why can´t we have the same with Coldplay? After all it would not cost them anything, but it would sure make our experience of listening to the music that much better (especially for those with good earphones/speakers). So if you care, drop them an email about it. Maybe it will change their mind and they will up the quality [email protected]

Sorry for not specifying. I get an email as a reply to a question I wrote. I wanted to know what quality mp3 we would get as download. So yeah it is pretty crappy. I personally find 160 kbps unacceptable!

I am posting this here as well. As mp3 download we are getting a quite crappy 160 kbps , which is even less than standard iTunes audio format. If we want a better quality download, let´s all write and let them know! After all we have to wait until December for the CD version: we need something worth listening to in terms of quality!
