I disagree. I think they are making the statement, again and again , that they do not fit in any box and they don´t believe in music being genre-divided. To think the band would just go along with whatever Chris say, I think it would be not to give the remaining three members the importance they deserve: after all Coldplay is democratic and we know that they are brutal with their choices , so I don´t think anyone would be afraid to disagree, should they not like another´s suggestion.

I am 99% sure it won´t be available in stores as it clearly states on the webpage: Exclusively available on Coldplay.com, so grab it there while you can! Same here, but I hope for a Christmas delivery! :) Can´t wait to wrap it :) Music is art and visual art can also be part of the package. Kinda like the butterflies and laser lights during the gigs: they are not necessary, but they sure make for a greater spectacle! I know I will cherish my MX limited edition and the care it has gone into preparing all its components :)

I for one was delighted to hear about how they are trying to blend genres. I think Coldplay have always strived to better themselves and the result are all the fantastic varied albums they have given us. Besides the singing higher I think was half a joke: I am sure they just thought a female voice would be nice in this song and would fit with the :heart: story

I feel the same! Loving MX so much so far! I think they really threw anything they got and I think it will please most those with a wide range of musical tastes, as someone else already suggested. Here in Denmark the good tickets (golden circle) got sold out almost instantly and of course it depends on the size of the gig.
