Will you buy Paradise?
I just did... so yes.

(It's out...) Countdown To Paradise Thread (Real time CHATROOM embedded in first post!)
Um... it's already up on iTunes! Both UK & Netherlands, as far as I checked though.

Amazon list two Mylo Xyloto Versions
I doubt one of them is Japanese; in Germany (and Holland, for that matter) new albums are always released the Friday before the UK gets it. Every webshop therefore lists the release date as Oct. 21, which is when it will probably be released in European countries.

If You Had To Choose
I'd go for Charlie Brown. I've managed to resist listening to a crappy version of PoC so far, so if it doesn't make it I can just continue to ignore its existence.

"Hurts Like Heaven" Lyrics
Yeah, I guess I am. The robot voice is in the prerecorded backing track, and is also heard during live performances. That's already there. So it has a chance of ending up on the studio version as a backing vocal.

"Hurts Like Heaven" Lyrics
Just to be clear btw - the effects on Chris's voice are already in the original backing track, all I did was remove the live vocal. So this (at least the robot voice) is what's playing when they play the song live, and therefore have a very good chance of ending up in the studio recording.

"Hurts Like Heaven" Lyrics
You can recreate the effect xylobryte had through his earphones quite easily, I tweaked the iTunes Festival version of HLH and now you can hear the backing track in very good quality: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ3gZAwcn0I]Coldplay - Hurts Like Heaven backing track - YouTube[/ame] Charlie Brown doesn't work though, I guess there are no pre-recorded backing vocals on there ;)

Hurts Like Heaven studio version effects
I tweaked the audio on the iTunes festival recording, so here you can hear the backing track quite perfectly: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nQ3gZAwcn0I]Coldplay - Hurts Like Heaven backing track - YouTube[/ame]

The Tracklisting
When I checked Chris's ASCAP page I noticed the songs 'Tomorrow' and 'Great Expectations' have credits for the full band + Brian Eno. Are those already ruled out for the album?

The Tracklisting
Just saw this on Twitter, don't know if it's been posted before... could this be the real tracklist?

Will Mylo Xyloto leak? ** EFFECTIVE 16-10 LINKS NOT PERMITTED ** (PART I)
Of course it will leak. Every album leaks at a certain moment in time. The reason ETIAW didn't leak, is because it was sent to radio DJs only minutes before the first on-air play. But the album will definitely leak, due to promos and advance copies being sent out. There's always someone who can't keep it to him/herself. Heck, last year I got Keane's Night Train EP a good two months before release, yet it leaked only about a week before release.

Another big announcement today about Mylo Xyloto (false alarm)
^So does Coldplay.

[7-July-2011] Coldplay @ BBK Live, Bilbao, Spain
23.40 = 22.40 UK time, according to the festival's website. But the stream isn't showing any Coldplay yet...

[7-July-2011] Coldplay @ BBK Live, Bilbao, Spain
I agree with everyone saying the stream quality sucks, but hey, a bad stream is better than no stream at all ;)

[3-July-2011] Coldplay @ Main Square Festival, Arras, France
Finally, a change in the setlist! Curious to see if there'll be any more...

My audio recording of the show is up on coldplaybootlegs.com.

[28-June-2011] Coldplay @ 'Where The Action Is' festival, Gothenburg, Sweden
I like how they seem much more at ease during this gig compared to Glasto... Much smaller crowd and pressure now that it isn't widely broadcast all over the world. You can see them be much more relaxed and having much more interaction with the crowd. Loving it!

[28-June-2011] Coldplay @ 'Where The Action Is' festival, Gothenburg, Sweden
Mine's running nice and smooth here and has done so for about 10 minutes now...

[28-June-2011] Coldplay @ 'Where The Action Is' festival, Gothenburg, Sweden
I'm recording, by the way. Is someone else? It would be nice to have a back-up ;)

[28-June-2011] Coldplay @ 'Where The Action Is' festival, Gothenburg, Sweden
Judging by the size of the audience, I'd say it's a rather small festival.

ETIAWF, MM and MTM wont be on the actual Album?
I think they're using ETIAW to warm people to Coldplay again... Viva was 3 years ago, so they need to be 'reintroduced' in some way. I'm pretty sure it will be on the album, as (in marketing terms) it would be ridiculous not to put your big hit single on your new album. I think you should consider the 'EP' now released as a way to put out an extra album track (Major Minus) for people to get to know that song as it's played during gigs, and to put out a new b-side (Moving To Mars). So I'm saying ETIAW and MM will be on the album, MTM isn't. And the other songs they're playing live (MX/HLH, UATW, CB and maybe also POC) will definitely be on the album.
