The forgotten track of LP5
Yeah fair enough, It just got on my nerves a wee bit, but I shouldn't complain really, I do too much of that anyway.

The forgotten track of LP5
Honestly, taking into consideration all of these threads (Album Art, Tracklist, Forgotten Song, THe Next...), why can't people just wait until the album's released, THEN put out your thoughts on the record? A little patience doesn't hurt.

How many songs are they not using?
Man they're not going to release that many singles from the album! Plus, who said anything about an EP? (Not aiming just at you here, so it's not a dig at you!) Just because there was one after Viva, but every other album...there wasn't.

Amazing Viva La Vida Lego Video
Pretty good I think. I burst out laughing when I saw the Chris figure on the piano at first though :L.

Need help writing songs!
You definitely will, like I said it's all practise, like anything else, musical instrument, sport, maths. When you continue to write songs, you'll eventually develop a sound. Here's one thing I do all the time: I get a song I really like and take the chords and melody, change the key and tempo and write words to it. Then, it eventually takes shape in a very different form. That is a good way to start out, and heck, I still do it. But when you improve, you begin to find inspiration out of nowhere when you're just letting your train of thought run away, that's why I must always be near a pen and paper, it could come to me at any time!

What will be the next single from LP5 (MYLO XYLOTO?)
I'd love hurt like heaven to be the next single. Does anyone else get the feeling that it's inspired by late 80s alternative rock, like Echo and The Bunnymen, REM, The Cure, people like that?

'Up In Flames' - A Last Minute Idea
I'd love to see this song, but honestly I think they should just stop adding songs to the album already, and get it finished!!!!!!!

Viva la Vida piano solo
Man, you are now my new best friend! It's weird how I didn't manage to figure it out before, it's just the arpeggiated chord with a little extra in it. It's probably because the part's pretty much buried in the mix. Thank you very very much, and now I'm off to record a version! (Without the strings...).

Welcome the Instrumental Room!
The Vox, Geetar, Pjanoo, Sexophone, Harimonica, Bookookee, Bass, Drums Mandolin. Likewise to splintercell37, I also do the mixing board, and a recording does not work without it!

Need help writing songs!
I've been writing for a good number of years. What I do is, literally sit down, start writing, and I don't stop until I'm satisfied. Most of the time I manage to create a song in a linear form during that one session. But the main thing is practise, if you write a lot, you'll get better. Think of things which mean something to you, because, frankly, you can't write a song about something you don't care about, it's not right. This should be a basis, and really just write, don't think of words that suggest things, or sounds you want, or anything like that, those things waste valuable songwriting time. If you write verses and choruses, you'll find something you like. You might want to work with it, or it might be perfect in that form, either way, it's a basis of a song, and it usually takes off from there.

An LP5 Play: In One Act
Absolute genius, brilliant!

I need performing tips
See the main problem is that it's ALL COLDPLAY SONGS. I mean 86Timewarp, yourself you stated your area isn't particularly "coldplay-loving", so why not play something by someone else as well? I know I've said it a couple of times, but regardless to the fact that I do love Coldplay, I would not enjoy hearing someone playing 100% songs by them, I'd only enjoy it if it was somebody from that band playing, same would go for Elbow, Primal Scream, Blur, or whoever really.

Viva la Vida piano solo
I've been going insane over this since I first heard the song back in 2008, I've been trying to figure it out, find tutorials, the lot and there's nothing, not even in the sheet music book. Let me know if you find something, because I'm just crazy!!!

I THINK LP5 WILL BE CALLED 'MYLO XYLOTO'...
Somebody's probably just put that together out of songs they knew were going to be on it, y'know like us making our makeshift tracklists, I say it's fake. Wait I didn't catch what website you got it from? Might change my mind after hearing that.

Chancge Here Your Tracklists.
Here's my epic one for Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends... 1. Life In Technicolor 2. Cemeteries Of London 3. Glass Of Water 4. 42 5. Violet Hill 6. Yes 7. Reign Of Love 8. Lovers In Japan (the acoustic one) 9. Viva La Vida 10. Lost! 11. Strawberry Swing 12. School (Death and all his friends intro + Rainy Day without verse 1 and chorus 1, something I put together a while back, sounds brilliant!) 13. Life In Technicolor ii 14. Now My Feet Won't Touch The Ground 15. The Escapist It might seem to run on for a bit, but I really recommend trying it out in a playlist. I also use that shorter version of Glass Of Water created by Zemmy101 yonks and yonks ago, it lacks the little build up bit with the piano roll, so from the last chorus shoots straight into a coda, sounds kick ass.

I need performing tips
can I just ask why you're playing only songs by Coldplay? Most people who aren't fans of them (it'd be safe to assume that the people aren't) won't really want to hear a full set of coldplay songs. Honestly, I do strongly advise some other addition, instead of Us against The World, play something like a Cat Stevens song, because UATW is not very well known at all. Just a word of advise, and plus you know the common viewpoint of coldplay (that idea that they are always boring, depressing and drudgy). I'm not saying these people will have this view, but it's good to take it into account.

The New Coldplay songs (Mylo xyloto , Up with birds , Great expectations, etc ) finally registered i
There's already a song by Elbow called "Great Expectations". Coldplay will have to make a big effort to better this!

Hurts Like Heaven (Jonny's Tab)
it's a dead easy part to figure out, have you tried the lower down phrase he plays after the second chorus? You've got to stretch quite a bit for it.

My idea of LP5 album artwork
That's absolutely brilliant! I'd love the original font to be used in the artwork but somehow I don't think it will be :/ One question, why a piano version of Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall? :L

Portishead's Geoff Barrow: 'Coldplay's fireworks ruin festivals'
This is all well but do remember, Portishead are a bunch of moody so and sos and they're only saying that because they could never pull of fireworks in their performances. With all of those down tempo, atmospheric, creepy trip hop songs (not that I don't like that) I'm not surprised at all he'd say something like that.

Chris should make a solo album?
Oh my god, somebody from Greece!!! I'm half Greek!! Gia sou file, ti kanis??

Golden Arrow Theory
Am I the only one who thinks "Mylo Xyloto" is absolute garbage? If it's any of those, I'm kinda hoping it's "Up With The Birds" that's quite good, but too reminiscent of "Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds". And yeah Space Symphony is Moving To Mars I'm pretty sure.

LP5 Tracklist?
I've just got to say, you do realise that he may be making a joke? For instance, I always make the joke to friends listening to a new song of mine that "you'll soon be singing along to this one when I'm headlining the pyramid stage at Glastonbury". I'm not 100% sure but I'm sure it's a distinctly British trait to over-exaggerate something with an ironic undertone to it, because to me, that's exactly what's going on in that quote.

LP5 Tracklist?
Later on last year and earlier this year I thought they were going to go through a more...(very hard to describe) mellow, classy, well-dressed, 1940's esque phase. Judging by the waistcoats, tidy hair, violin bass and the very natural, clean and acoustic sounding songs and honestly...I would have preferred that to what we've got now. Not to say I don't like this, it's just that I'd have preferred something a bit less...colourful. (Oh and this is NOT implying I liked christmas lights, I HATED christmas lights).
