  1. I honestly didn't find any of that nine minutes in the least bit funny. The guy's Scottish, but this is just...I dunno, there's something major lacking in this. But the coldplay jokes were alright, I only found the Guinness bit funny.

For - Bumping this thread. Against - The rain outside.
  3. If I had to be honest I'd say I am. Judging by the amount of people around my age running about and screaming, making fools of themselves, getting hyper all the time, it embarrasses me to watch them. Plus there's all these people who can't string a sentence together without saying "like" or "y'know" or even swearing every two words like punctuation (which is essentially what Glaswegian dialect is). I feel a bit odd being one of the few people in my year at school who don't go out drinking at parties etc, but I feel like I need to focus on other things, plus I'd feel tense because I KNOW my parents would find out and kill me with the kitchen cleaver.
  4. ^ That would just kill it...just everything.
  5. Love it. Silver Trembling Hands - Flaming Lips Has anyone else heard the Embryonic album??? It's crazy!!!
  6. I quite like U2, I never got it why people hate them, it's probably just Bono. Their music is fantabulous. But I like them loads. I don't know anything about U2 fans though, no idea what they're like.
  7. Like killing cows with our bare hands.
  8. I'd love to see those two going out...it'd be interesting.
  9. hey, I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here. MOST of the people are dead nice, and I recommend getting into the non-coldplay threads, especially the lounge, some of the stuff which goes on there is pretty crazy. You're from the UK too, where abouts?
  10. WE GET IT YOU'RE HAVING A MENTAL BREAKDOWN!!!!!!
  11. I don't mind them using backing tracks, but I would love to see them with other live musicians, it seems a bit more down to earth, especially if they interact with them (thinking Elbow here, with their string quartet).
  12. I really like that. I'd say the last part of the verse "just. Don't.", change that to something a bit longer, it seems to prod out a bit much from the rest. I do like the room on fire bit, but to me it doesn't really go with the song, if you can somehow weave some other things into it, then it would make much more sense, but I guess...who said it has to make sense!
  13. Hey all. In case you didn't know, Isobel Campbell was originally from the Scottish indie pop band Belle and Sebastian, but despite their "indie" flavour, they have become widely popular. She broke off after their fourth album and has had some pretty good career since. I'm here just to shed some light to you all who don't know who she is. First off...she has a brilliant voice and writes fantastic songs: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7V8bQITQ3s]‪Isobel Campbell - Revolver‬‏ - YouTube[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=00Kr_RJVUHA]‪Belle & Sebastian - Is It Wicked Not To Care?‬‏ - YouTube[/ame] She is also stunning... So there you have it, if you know of her, please discuss!
  14. I got the TKOL 2nd remix vinyl today...it's kick ass!
  15. oh I see...yeah, that beats everything hands down.
  16. oh well that's better than popcorn! But I'll still have some popcorn....because I'm
  17. Do we all get popcorn if ti hits 150?
  18. It's a postwhore party!!! (plus me, because I invited myself).
  19. Fairly warm, sunny, slightly overcast though 18 degrees...that's brilliant for Glasgow!
  20. Whose Line is it anyway...what a show... Ponty Mython.
  21. I love your comments. And you're right I guess.
  22. I really hope you guys don't go around spraying coldplay graffiti around the place, that's what I was worried about. I don't care what form of graffiti it is, it's damaging to public property and looks awful (regardless to what it is). If it's a graffiti wall or somewhere you're allowed to spray, then you should go for it, but honestly, I'd say not to because not only does it make the place look rubbish (think of the non-coldplayers) but also it's a proper legal issue, if you're caught, it's not good. I'm sure the band wouldn't be too happy if they heard that people were going about spraying graffiti because of them. I remember back in 2008, I wanted a jacket just like one of them, wanted to paint my guitar and I painted my keyboard. Looking back, it was all a silly Idea. The jacket would look stupid, the guitar's sound would be effected badly and would look stupid and my keyboard's a mess now.
  23. Can someone put this down for comment of the year? Please?
  24. The tutorial's right, and what the guy's saying about inverting chords is right, if you listen, he does play the 2nd inversion of Em, and the other chords said. You just need to have a mute on the piano to make it sound exact. But honestly, play it on guitar, it sounds a hell load better!
