I think I prefer Belle and Sebastian...anybody familiar with them??? (to save myself getting hurt, I still love Coldplay to bits and they're my second favourite band).

I see, happens I guess :L The only thing I ask is that they don't end or start the album with Every Teardrop is a Shite Song, because (especially if it ended the album) it just seems like they're over emphasising it and trying to make it an anthem like Viva La Vida..(which it clearly isn't).

make it simple I say. For Us Against the World, make it out to be just two people as the subject maybe walking through a city, or a forrest, or something like that and just have it following them throughout, but explicitly focusing on them being separate from the rest of the community. As for Major Minus, I genuinely have no Idea what you could do. Bear in mind, these are just my suggestions, it might turn out i know absolutely nothing about music video making, but that's what I think would look good in a video.

I at least want Hurts Like Heaven to be on it, it's my favourite from the new batch, it reminds me of Echo and the Bunnymen, or at least some late 80s/ early 90s indie rock, if you know what I mean...like something off the C86 tape but a bit more...colourful.

I guess so yeah, but I quite like going out and buying it myself, getting to see it up close before I guy it...but maybe I'm just a little bit old-fashioned!

Hey all. I've recently finished updating my Myspace profile (appearance, bio, music etc etc) and I thought to myself..."wouldn't it be great if somebody was to see this?" So I've set myself up on a quest to promote myself and music any means possible. I start by creating a thread so the lovely people at coldplaying who have Myspace may hopefully add me and (if I'm lucky) listen to my music! Oh yeah, I keep forgetting about Prospekt's March!! Still, it's been a while. I'm sure they don't need to spend this long on an album? I'm thinking it's going to be sort of The Fireman-esque with a bit of afro-pop. Hopefully Jonny will shine out in this, cause didn't Chris say something like that in a recent interview?

All I'm saying is that it better be good :L It's been 3 bloody years, and to be 100% honest I was disappointed with christmas lights. The lyrics to this song are a wee bit cliched, but they're pretty good. I'm sure the music will make up for it, if it sounds like what I'm imagining, it'll be bloody brilliant! :)

personally I think you need a fuzz pedal which uses quite a bit of treble, but not too much fuzz, cause you can clearly make out his strums, if there was too much fuss it'd just be constant noise if you know what i mean. And the reverb could be about a second to 2 seconds long. A wee bit of delay will definitely help out too, but not too much, just enough to make the sound almost constant but not at the same time (if that makes any sense :L) I'd recommend turning the mids up a bit, seems like jonny has.

I would like to state that fist pumpin to Planisphere by Justice was an awesome experience...especially in Finale when everything just crashes in.
