  1. ^You can if you're me. I realised when moving home I have over 30 band t-shirts and like 13 pairs of different coloured jeans :|
  2. I really don't even know. It's not like he has 12 Lynyrd Skynyrd tees or anything. And it's my 21st birthday present, come on.
  3. I am really excited. I can't decide which t-shirt to wear so I've taken them all (Rush of Blood Era, Viva Wembley t-shirt, MX autumn t-shirt) My Dad has just asked why I want another tour tee. I don't think he understands at all.
  4. I AM SO EXCITED FOR TOMORROW. IT'S GOING TO BE AMAZING.
  5. Maybe. But I feel like although the overproduced version would do better in the chart-- surely they could see that the untampered version sounded better? Success vs. music itself-- I'd chose the music.
  6. Cameras are fine. They may be a bit funny if it is a detachable lens; otherwise they will let you in no problem. As for the safety of your camera-- I'd get a wrist strap and tie it around your wrist and then hold it in your hand. My camera has survived everything, including the roughest crowd ever at Kasabian using that technique. Re: Light wise. I think it is due to be overcast in the day time which will work in our favour and sunset itself is meant to be 21:00 which means towards the end of the gig it will be getting darker. I'll be honest though, the gig won't be dark, so some of the effect of the Xylobands will be dulled. But really, that should be the least of our concerns. What about potential setlists? Who wants what?
  7. The acoustic version is so much better. Why did they overproduce it?
  8. Got 3 tickets to the 2nd June gig at the Emirates in the upper tier... We'd like to swap for a lower tier if anyone has any going? (It's not imperative, just would like to surprise my parents)
  9. Two great releases from this week: 'An Awesome Wave'- Alt-J. 'Here We Are'- Citizens!
  10. I don't feel like an EP is likely. Viva felt like a era full of secrets and things like that... When VLV first came out I did feel like we were going to get an EP-- and lo we did. MX feels like everything is there and in your face. It feels like the cards are all there and being played. But then having no B-sides in the single release is a little weird if there's not going to be an EP.
  11. Kind of bummed I won't be there to F5 abuse... But being there will probably be better.
  12. Yeah, you're right. The last tube that you can get from The Emirates to Victoria is 11.20-- which, if they started later (and had a later curfew) would mean a massive push. That's what happened to me when I saw Muse at Wembley-- I managed to catch the final tube to Victoria by the skin of my teeth-- otherwise I would've ended up stranded in London. Luckily I learnt this time so I have a hotel out at Heathrow-- which the last tube from The Emirates being half-past midnight
  13. Went back a few pages and didn't see anyone mention Breton's debut 'Other Peoples' Problems'. I would definitely recommend listening to it; I thought it was an almost flawless album. And their live shows are certainly an experience.
  14. I will have to say, I don't get going more than once. Maybe one attempt, 2 maximum... Otherwise it is just creepy. Saying camped out was probably the wrong way of saying it. There was a Muser meet and 5 of them then went to the studio to see if they'd come out or anything. This was their first time going and probably the last; security came out and told them that Matt and Dom were staying in until the early hours-- so they left at about 8pm. I wouldn't mind doing one stalk out; but that's it.
  15. If people want to get a hold of the Ruby/Broken Jaw Vinyl from RSD-- my local indie shop has like 2 copies left over (Resident Music in Brighton). They ship to the UK only though so I'm sorry about those of you who are overseas. The vinyl is funky though; bright yellow. I picked up my copy a few days ago  I've yet to play it as I don't actually own a vinyl player :|
  16. I've got people currently camped out outside the studio. Hopefully they will meet and converse with the band to double, triple confirm everything... But there's been several meetings now-- and although the majority of people that have met the band recently have said September; there have been 2 separate incidences (that I have seen) that have said November. October O2 sounds really feasible though
  17. People might want to contact their local stores as some stores have received extra stock. I just picked up a copy of Coldplay's 'Up With The Birds/U.F.O' and Arctic Monkey's 'R U Mine?' because they had a delivery an hour ago.
  18. I saw him live last year by accident (he was at the new music festival in Brighton and was on before a band I wanted to see so I ended up there). He's really good; and the album is also pretty decent.
  19. They are a little bit; but between the two Wembley shows in '10 (it's been that long ) there was actually quite a significant difference in setlists. I preferred the second night setlist to the one I saw (bitter much?) I think though they have a lot more variety than Coldplay and KoL... I agree with this fully. I don't like Guiding Light that much and Feeling Good is just overdone. There's nothing new with it each time. No riffs or jams to make it feel new.
  20. Nothing yet. I would think though with a album due out in September/October we'll get a tour on the way by December. Which will be also announced in September/October Never. At least with a Muse show you know you'll never get the same setlist at all the shows you go to.
  21. Holla everyone. How are you all doing? Everyone enjoying new Muse updates? People saving their pennies for a tour? (Muse and The Killers are bound to announce tour dates at the same time)
  22. Breton- Other People's Problems. Best album I've heard this year.
  23. Sup Muse thread. Wassappening?
  24. PoC was as awkward as I expected it to be. And transitioning from slow-to-fast was jarring in both cases. Paradise was better but still weak compared to them live. They all need a break because they seem to be overdoing it massively. Also: very glad Foo Fighters nabbed the awards in the category that Coldplay were in. Sorry but ETIAW (not rock) winning 'best rock song/performance' verses 'Walk' (actually rock) would've been atrocious.
  25. Uh... Best song on the album ruined by a very substandard video. God it was so awkward to watch. I liked the parkour (not that I really see any relevance unless it's all about freedom ect, which is a tedious link to make) and I liked that the Xylobands were shown in all their glory. But the 'storyline' was dull. I didn't much like that they went to a 'club' or Coldplay were performing at an underground rave. Because it's used in pretty much every pop video and Chris Martin would be that cringey bloke on the dancefloor that everyone would be avoiding. Not sitting through that again. It could've been so good.
