Water for Elephants 8/10 Not as good as the book, but quite an excellent adaptation as far as books-turned-movies go.

Hereafter 6/10. Not exactly what I was expecting, but it was alright.

I think that in order to warrant torture, the person should be proven to actually know the information that is trying to be extracted. And only in extremely serious/important situations. I hate the idea of someone being tortured for information that they do not even know.

I think that some things are unforgiveable. Even if you try to forgive them, I don't think that it is possible to forgive everything.

I'm kind of ashamed to admit that, although I was completely indifferent to the royal wedding before, I got sort of interested in it when I woke up on Friday. I think it was her dress that got me...so gorgeous. I want that dress (minus the train) when I get married!!

I was absolutely disgusted when I realized that it was going to be a Conservative majority. Seriously, who would vote for them? :S I voted for the first time yesterday and am proud to be NDP. :) So glad they are the opposition now! And I'm thrilled that Elizabeth May got a seat! We need someone to keep Harper in line when it comes to the environment; if not, we're not even going to have a country to live in.

THE INTERNET. My town's local provider has been out for 2 days, and I was away for 3 days before that so I haven't had any access for 5 days!! I'm at work, and we have a different provider so thank god I can get on my email here!!

I don't have a problem with people who don't like Coldplay. Everyone has different taste in music. I don't see why people feel the need to criticize each other over what music they listen to.
