Yeah everything is still just speculation at this point, but I have quite an imagination, lol. And as someone else said in another thread, speculating and talking about what we would like is a good way to pass the time so we don't go crazy waiting, I know the boys won't disappoint :-) P.S Thanks for the feedback dream.

Hey fellow Coldplayers! Well this is my first thread, so forgive me if my ideas aren't that great. Well I was just sitting here listening to the new songs and watching some live videos, and I had this vision, Ok I'm exaggerating, but I still had this awesome thought! So there has been talk that LP5 could possibly be a concept album of sorts, well heres my vision of it: I don't think it's a coincidence that Coldplay has started every concert this festival tour with the Back to the Future theme. I think the theme of time travel would help to piece together songs about UFO's, Aliens and space, with songs about graffiti, rebellion or even further back like the whole "Once upon a time" thing from PoC. I think there will also be songs of a more personal nature like UATW, which ultimately leads us to the conclusion that amongst all the "chaos" and craziness of what's going on, this is just a story about friends and of course, love. I also believe there will be some sort of antagonist, some sort of enemy trying to "Hurt, hurt me bad" But in the end they'll raise the flag, victorious. In the end after all the "time traveling" they'll realize they're just "Car Kids" in other words, we survived what the world had to throw at us, we don't belong in space, just driving their cars, and friendship was what got them through it all. Anyways, I have much more details in my head of how the story could go, but it's way to much to write at 1 in the morning, so heres my DREAM tracklist, ya'll can make the rest up as you please. The reason I put track length was so people could see we could easily get 12 tracks and still be around 42 mins, which is supposedly one of Coldplays "rules". I'm also pretty sure we'll get an EP a la Prospekts March sometime after LP5 is released due to all the material the guys have. Anyways this is my dream, so don't hate on me for putting so much thought into this.

Oh ok well everybody has there preference.. and I do agree, I'm sure shiver would please more people, plus it's so old its like new to new fans! And the new live version is amazing. I guess not everyone can get what they want, not even the members of coldplay themselves! lol

I love the setlist! But I just wish for 42, that song is epic, studio and live. I would also take Trouble over EnL

It is a happy, optimistic, colorful video! And that is exactly the kind of mood i like being in. I always have Trouble, The Scientist, What if etc.. when I'm in a depressed mood. This song and video are just perfect to feel good to!

That's a great song! I know how you feel, I try to keep a top 10, but it changes everyday and I always get into different songs depending on my mood and state of mind. But that's why I love coldplay, they have something for everyday of my life. Colplay fans are the best aren't they? lol P.s Don't worry I dont know how to quote either, :-P

Had a dream a few months ago that they released the new album, and I can actually remember hearing songs, and they were amazing! Then I woke up and realized it was just a dream. To say the least I was a little upset..

"and lift off before troubles just erode us in the rain" - UATW. That song is just filled with great lyrics, and the way Chris sings that part, amazing.

IMO too soon to tell, though it most certainly is my favorite of the new songs they've played live (want to hear moving to mars live) It's got such an instant classic feel to it, but I want to wait till the album comes out before I put it up there with Politik, Yelllow, Fix you, Clocks and Viva la Vida. (Those are not my top 5 songs, just some of the ones I think are very successful and popular among most fans)

I think the performance was simply amazing.. So what if they seemed a bit nervous, that's one of the things I love about our boys, even after 4 amazing albums, millions of copies sold and thousands of concerts played over the course of over 11 years, they're still trying to impress us, they're still worried they're just not quite good enough, and that my friends is what makes me sure the best is yet to come. To me it shows humility, and that's why I love Coldplay and always will.
