  1. He always wears the same clothes at every concert, as a matter of fact the whole band does, it's kinda like their costume/uniform for this tour.
  2. Must you hate on coldplay every chance you get? I like you on the muse thread, but here you are just kinda obnoxious
  3. No you are not the only one! First time I heard it I thought it was gonna be a cover! Love both songs by the way..
  4. Hey anybody know a good place I can download Muse B-sides and rarities? I checked out muselive, but most links were taken down.. Any help??
  5. Cool, thanks for the advice! Im gonna head on over and check it out!
  6. Hello friends.. I'm a fairly new Muse fan,(although I've loved hysteria for a long while, I just recently got in to all their albums) so far I think Citizen Erased or Thoughts of a Dying Atheist are my favorite songs. I was just wondering, does Muse have an awesome Fansite like Coldplaying? And if so could someone point me in the right direction?
  7. LOL.. I guess liking Coldplay is the new hipster thing to do. Does that make every hipster now mainstream and the rest of us hipsters?? :o
  8. You mad bro? Seriously I have my own opinion, and I don't find the similarity like you do. Apart from the ooohhh ( come on now, how many songs have that in a similar fashion ) they have nothing in common. I'll be the first to admit that Viva did have many similarities to if I could fly, but I'm just not hearing this. When I think of Asian music, I think of that same melody and heey yaya (sorry if that doesn't make since) So chances are coldplay were inspired by Asian music in general and not this lady. Hence princess of CHINA. In my opinion the only puppet here is you. Why don't you open your eyes and realize it's your opinion and not EVIDENCE. Sorry to go off, but your comment kinda irked me. Let's be friends
  9. "Lift off this blindfold let me see again" "The arrow they shot trying to tear us apart" "Can we pour some water on?" "It's a spark in a sea of grey" "Para para paradise" "lalalalalala" Kidding on the last two:P

  16. What a proud day to be a coldplayer!!!! WE ROSE THE FLAG!!! CONGRATS to everyone who runs and keeps this site going, you all do an amazing job!!!
  17. I love you for saying that! Sparks is one of my all time favorite songs, not just from coldplay but in general. I used to sing my girlfriend to sleep with that song over the phone, now were married and I still sing it to her. Everything about that song is perfect and as much as I like CB, sparks is way way better!
  18. I agree with you somewhat and also disagree, but I love your post. I stated this in another thread, those classic Coldplay songs will always be there, they'll never change, and you can always go back to them. Even if their recent work does not carry as much emotional weight, it's new, refreshing and exciting! I say go along for the ride, enjoy it or what it is. Hopefully next time around they will make something more connected to their roots. On a side note I believe that Chris has something of writers block and that's why they ditched the acoustic album, maybe he couldn't come up with enough meaningful deep lyrics to fill an entire album, so instead they came up with songs like paradise with lots of sound and pretty colors to distract from the fact it's pretty much empty lyrically. I'm not complaining, I love Paradise and all their new stuff, but I do hope in the future they make another AROBTTH, not musically, lyrically. Something deep and meaningful, with a new and experimental sound. Maybe they need to go through this phase to become an even greater band. For now let's just enjoy the ride(those of us who enjoy the new material) and hope and pray this is NOT their last album. P.S I'm also happy if this era will introduce new fans to their older work, that way more people can appreciate the beauty that is Coldplay.
  19. I'm perfectly fine with having heard a lot of new songs. IMO the only I songs I've truly heard are MM, ETIAW and Para.. Studio can be quite different from live (MM for example) so I still have quite a lot to look foward to! That and CB, HLH and UATW are already in my top 20 so I know the album will be great! Although I will admit I'm most looking foward to UFO, DLIBYH and UWTB cause I haven't heard them in any form, so I can understand some being disappointed with having heard so much of the album, especially for those who dislike the 3 studio songs we've heard so far..
