Viva La vida :heart: It was thanks to that album that I discovered Coldplay, and I also think that it's a better album overall. It's problably my favourite album along with Parachutes, there isn't one song on that album that I doesn't love :) !

9/10, I really like the combination of the acoustic guitar and the strings! Was expecting something else when I saw the title, but I was pleasantly surprised :D

I think it's their weakest album... It's not bad, but it's not good either. X&Y was my least favourite before MX, but now they're both down on the bottom of my "list". It wasn't because I had too high expectations for MX, because my expectations were quite low after hearing about Princess of china... I understand that they want to change their sound, it's just that the sound they seem to be going for doesn't really appeal to me... After listening through the whole of MX it felt like it wasn't going to be an album that I'll listen to time after time like the other albums. I've listened to them so many times and I won't get bored of it. MX feels different, and it's sad, actually :( Still has some good songs on it though.

No, I don't like it at all. It just seems... weird. Not Coldplay-like at all. And it's not even Rihannas fault (even though I can't stand her), I don't think I would've liked the song even if she wasn't in it. Very dissapointed.

I love the bassline in Violet hill and Cemetries of London :wacky:

I just listened to it since I wasn't able to listen when I was in school, but I've been reading all of the negative comments on here during the day and was expecting something REALLY bad. I don't like ETIAW, but Paradise is really good actually! Yes, it's very "pop" and the lyrics are... not so good, but the song itself is very catchy, and I like it a lot! And I agree that the negativity on here is depressing... Sure, people are entitled to their opinion, but you know... We shouldn't judge the whole album before we've heard it.

A few days ago there was a huge storm where I lived, with heavy thunder and lightning... I sat in the car with my dad driving home during all this, and suddenly (and finally) the rain stopped. And at the same moment ETIAW started playing on the radio :dazzled: It's the first time I've heard it on the radio here :)
