  1. Bones, sinking like stones, all that we fall for
  2. It's called a hook, that's all that's needed to be considered plagiarism.. Although I doubt that's an actual copyrighted song
  3. How the hell did you find this??? But wow, that's freaky, the melody is undeniably similar, at least the oooooohhh part from poc/haaayyyyyyyy
  4. Guppywarlord posted a topic in Coldplay
Oh boy I can't wait!!! Kidding, of course, but do any of you think this could actually be their last album?
  5. Guppywarlord replied to R23's topic in M.M.I.X
It's reminiscent of the intro to Where the Streets Have No Name...hmm.
  6. The studio versions are good, just Phil Spector/Wall of Sound ish and a bit overproduced. The live versions are so fantastically better.
  7. Coldplay's changing too much, they don't even have the confetti anymore. /sarcasm
  8. They're releasing stencils with the pop-up album stuff :p
  9. They did it a few times in X&Y as well.
  10. I think there's still a possibility that there will be a song called Space Symphony. If you think about it, Charlie Brown has the lyric 'Us Against the World' in it, but there's still a separate song called Us Against the World. They've done it before anyways.
  11. I was wondering this too, because when he sang it at Glastonbury they cut to Gweneth and she was singing along...maybe it's something personal to them?
  12. The Oracle answered this question a while ago, putting it off on how it didn't fit with the setlist they wanted. So it'll probably still be on LP5.
  13. I bet they changed it up because they were bored after Glasto. Or because they're mean and did it just this time during the unstreamed show.
  14. Chris' patch on his shirt in the Waterfall video is CK turned sideways to look like a human body.
  15. I can't help but notice Chris' patch on his shirt is 'CK' turned 90 degrees. And it looks like a person. Or at least a human form, and seeing as space is a bit of a theme, the human body shape is a pretty important thing to beam out to any extra terrestrials. Maybe those crazy trolls were right about something, CK may be important. And maybe I'm just becoming one of them, slowly
  16. It also seems to fit in well with both the 'space' and 'us against the world' themes.
  17. This has been brought up once or twice but never got much attention: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1301310/ It's the title of a movie directed by none other than Mat Whitecross, director of a handful of Coldplay's music videos including the recent Christmas Lights. Here's the description of the film: Moving to Mars charts the epic journey made by two Burmese families from a vast refugee camp on the Thai/Burma border to their new homes in the UK. At times hilarious, at times emotional, their travels provide a fascinating and unique insight not only into the effects of migration, but also into one of the most important current political crises - Burma. So do you think the song was inspired by the film? There has to be a link, the coincidence is just too weird.
  18. 'Concrete canvas' would go well with the graffiti theme.
  19. How cruel would it be to give us the full lyrics to this song, then release a different one as a single? And how can we be for sure that these are even Chris' lyrics?
