I'm so glad that we're finally getting some good concrete dates (well, sort of concrete :P )! But why are the guys planning on waiting an entire month after finishing LP5 to release its title? :confused:

GPASUYF is a great running song. I haven't tried Major Minus yet, but I will here in a few minutes when I motivate myself enough to get up off the couch. The same with ETiaW--any song with a strong beat is good. Violet Hill is great--the drum beats after the 'so if you love me won't you let me know' bit are always perfectly timed with my steps :P Lost! is pretty good, but it's been lost in the hundreds of songs on my iPod and I never can find it Viva la Vida is the best running son ever! I literally start to unconsciously run faster when the guys start their 'ooh ooh ooh's' :dance: I know I'm forgetting some . . . . :uhoh:

Oooh, he said the album title is hard to spell . . . . maybe it is [something] Xylobrytes?! :shocked2:

Yay for Coldplay advertising! :dance: I've managed to get my brother, sister, and mother to appreciate Coldplay . . . for some odd reason the only Coldplay song my dad likes is Life in Technicolor II because he thinks it sounds like U2--I guess other Coldplay songs don't? :thinking:

^ Eh? :thinking: I don't think Charlie Brown, HLH, Major Minus, etc. are very 'Black-Eyed Peas-esque' (of course there's no guarantee that any of these will be on the album). If anything, they're a mixture of songs from the previous Coldplay albums. But, to each their own. :nice:

^ I don't actually think we have any idea of what the guys are doing at this point in time as far as album content. From what I've heard, they've had over a hundred songs to choose from, any of which could be from any of the 'recording sessions' they've held. After all, their original material was recorded, scrapped, and then pulled out again for consideration. Maybe a mix of concept album and something else? :shrug:

I think that LP5 will be a 'concept album' in the sense that it will have songs that could have fit in with any of their previous albums. For example, Moving to Mars would have fit brilliantly into X&Y's tracklist, while Us Against The World sounds like the guys pulled it straight from the Parachutes era. So, I think all of the songs will differ from each other, but fit together cohesively like Viva.

Major Minus and MX / Hurts Like Heaven I have a feeling that I'm going to love Princess of China when we get an HD recording, though :cool:
