  1. A lot of people think the same when they hear a colplay song, especially their older stuff. PD Pricess of China is an awsome song
  2. is this for EVERY Itunes store in the world? because it's 17 of october in some countries already
  3. Mojo gave Mylo Xyloto a 4/5 ??? is this the same music critic that gave AROBTH and X&Y 3/5 stars?? Uncut gave MX 3/5 but gave AROBTH 5/5 Spin gave MX 3.5/5 but gave X&Y 5/5 I wonder what rating is pitchfork going to give, maybe a 0.0 and I would not be surprised f**ing coldplay haters
  4. I agree with you, Viva la vida video was a huge dissapointment, the itunes commercial was way better.
  5. Chris's voice sounds like the guy from sigur ros in this song.
  6. Viva La vida was awsome, but I don't think it's their best album. I will rank them like this: 1.A Rush Of Blood To The Head 2.Viva La Vida And All His Friends 3.X&Y 4.Parachutes So far MX looks promising. It has a very fresh sound.
  7. http://popcrush.com/coldplay-paradise/ so far the song has mixed reviews Coldplay, ‘Paradise’ – Song Review Coldplay once again aim for a stadium-sized sound and achieve it on ‘Paradise,’ the new single from their upcoming album ‘Mylo Xyloto.’ While many of Coldplay’s best songs are built around the voice of singer Chris Martin, ‘Paradise’ makes a lasting impression before Martin offers a single word. The minute-long introduction builds with strings and keyboards before a slow, hypnotic beat enters the picture. Martin sings a third-person narrative about a girl whose life hasn’t measured up to her expectations: “When she was just a girl / She expected the world / But it flew away from her reach / So she ran away in her sleep.” Martin references the band’s last single with the lines, “Life goes on, it gets so heavy / The wheel breaks the butterfly / Every tear, a waterfall / In the night, the stormy night / She closed her eyes,” before launching into an epic sing-along chorus, “She dreams of para, para, paradise.” After a guitar solo, the song fades out with soft humming and a brief piano section, a nicely understated ending to a captivating song. ‘Mylo Xyloto’ arrives on Oct. 25.
  8. Those first 12 seconds are really catchy. Now I know why they chose this as a single, from the thirty seconds I heard, it sounds like a radio song (not saying that is bad). It's very interesting, I can't wait to hear the whole song
  9. Parachutes: Melancholy :pleased: A Rush of Blood to the Head: Masterpiece :o X&Y: decent  Viva La Vida: Fresh
  10. I heard it on the radio !!!!!!! I gave it 8/10 when it first came out, now it grew on me 10/10
  11. hurts like heaven is amazing, and my new favorite song is charlie brown
  12. l I can tell you that the lyrics of ETIAW are average some parts nice-pleasant "I rather be a comma than full stop" or "you can hurt me bad, but i'll still raise the flag" I'm so mad right now. I can't understand how's this compared to Friday.....I just....ughh :shame: Shame on those people
  13. :o you guys gotta be fucking kidding and the guy who made this thread must be joking, but is not funny at all Listen your being harsh, Friday's lyrics are plain and RETARDED Now you will think "I rather be a comma than a full stop" like WTF? Well that's what I thought when I heard "yesterday was sucking a lemon" or "there are two colors in my head" by radiohaead, cmon everything in my right place doesn't make any sense lyrically and it's still a song In one of the best albums of the last decade, oh and lets not talk about "I'm the walrus" by the beatles or any oasis song
  14. yeah of course you need to listen to a song more than one time to make a judgment imagine people judging radiohead songs after one listen, they woud be one of the worst bands on earth i think
  15. so when do the charts get updated? does any one know in which position is ETIAW?

  18. no i wont like it and you are going too far....are you comparing it to friday? ok first lets face it, ETIAW is a pop song, but just because is pop, it doesnt mean it sucks like justin bieber or lady gaga(well shockingly rolling stone gave it a 4/5 on her last album) maybe coldplay can change and do an electropop album something like LCD soundsystem, which got positive reviews by critics, i really dont care if they change as long as they make good music. or maybe the album is not gonna sound like ETIAW maybe they will have more ''coldplayish" songs, lets wait for the whole album and then critisize
  19. well here is the question, do hate the song because is bad or do you hate the song because is pop? i've talked about this before and i think i have a valid point saying that a lot of people who dislike the song are closed minded and dont appreciate music other than soft/alternative rock....or only rock.
  20. well guys, so far the reviews seem positive about the song http://www.gigwise.com/blog/63637/Coldplay-Every-Teardrop-Is-Waterfall-Review http://popcrush.com/coldplay-every-teardrop-is-a-waterfall/ http://www.arjanwrites.com/arjanwrites/2011/06/single-review-coldplay-every-teardrop-is-a-waterfall.html http://popdust.com/2011/06/03/coldplay-every-teardrop-is-a-waterfall-review-new/ http://www.holymoly.com/hm15/video/coldplay-not-actually-rubbish-new-song-shocker56811 http://www.guardian.co.uk/music/musicblog/2011/jun/03/coldplay-every-teardrop-is-a-waterfall
