  1. Just googled this. It turns out they actually ARE appearing on X Factor next weekend. What.
  2. I've always thought they would be singles, as well as Hurts Like Heaven. Think many others will agree on that.
  3. That was to Matt's head in a bag and Chris' twitter :p
  4. 1.) Mylo Xyloto 2.) Hurts Like Heaven 3.) In My Place 4.) Yellow 5.) Charlie Brown 6.) The Scientist 7.) Violet Hill 8.) A Rush of Blood to the Head 9.) God Put a Smile Upon Your Face 10.) Princess of China 11.) Viva la Vida 12.) Major Minus 13.) Speed of Sound 14.) Paradise 15.) Talk 16.) Shiver 17.) Life in Technicolour II ENCORE 18.) Clocks 19.) Fix You 20.) Don't Let It Break Your Heart 21.) Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall
  5. The Hardest Part? Really? Glad to see some Coldplay on there generally, although I think some are too high.
  6. Since Coldplay now have five albums out, it's time for me to compile my list of the 25 best songs they've ever released (IMO). I'm including only songs that have been released on any format such as album, EP or single. Unreleased songs that we've only heard live versions of don't count - if the band wanted those songs to be judged as part of their discography, then they'd have released them in some way, shape or form, the way I look at it. This is my own personal opinion. I would like to see other users contribute their lists and perhaps give reasonings as to why they chose certain songs (which I plan on doing at some point, just thought I'd get my actual list in here first though). TOP 25: 1.) The Scientist 2.) Shiver 3.) Clocks 4.) Amsterdam 5.) Charlie Brown 6.) Viva la Vida 7.) Strawberry Swing 8.) A Rush of Blood to the Head 9.) Trouble 10.) Yellow 11.) Talk 12.) Green Eyes 13.) Hurts Like Heaven 14.) Speed of Sound 15.) Warning Sign 16.) Don't Panic 17.) Fix You 18.) Life in Technicolour II 19.) Death and All His Friends 20.) Spies 21.) In My Place 22.) Square One 23.) Paradise 24.) White Shadows 25.) Politik STATS: Parachutes - 5 songs A Rush of Blood to the Head - 8 songs X&Y - 5 songs Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends - 3 songs Prospekt's March - 1 song Mylo Xyloto - 3 songs Non-album - 0 songs Discuss my list, share your own, and so on. I've seen threads that ask for top 10 songs and such, but none that ask for this many and none that actively ask for discussion on each other's lists, which is why I've posted this.
  7. They always play the other version here. So yeah, this is still old, but I've never seen it and forgot all about this version existing. So I'm glad you posted it. Haha
  8. [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zV2S2WFJqcA&feature=aso]My Tram Experience Response - MarmiteMan4 - YouTube[/ame] FACEPALM
  9. TOO MUCH GOOD
  10. Anyone remember when 5 stars from Q actually meant something?
  11. I don't mind the piano being cut out. I prefer it to end with that 'Luminous and wired/we'll be glowing in the dark' line. It's the fact that here it just seems to start. There isn't an intro to this cut, which I find weird. Just seems to start too quickly for my liking, doesn't ease you in or anything. Still in my top 5 Coldplay songs though and by far the best thing on MX.
  12. Yeah I wanna know about Car Kids too, I saw it on wiki
  13. The Bends would be a good starting point imo, it's where I started with them
  14. Kinda. I was younger when the first three albums came out. They seemed bigger then for some reason. I wasn't a fan until recently, so I don't really 'miss' it. There didn't seem as much of a stir in publications and the like for MX as there was for VLV and X&Y. I dunno. Nostalgia I guess.
  15. Muse need to shake things up a bit I reckon
  16. Round 1: MX / Hurts Like Heaven Round 2: Paradise Round 3: Charlie Brown Round 4: Fix You Round 5: Talk Round 6: Every Teardrop Is a Waterfall Round 7: Speed of Sound Round 8: U.F.O. Round 9: Princess of China Round 10: Up In Flames Round 11: A Hopeful Transmission Round 12: Don't Let It Break Your Heart Round 13: Up With the Birds And yet I prefer X&Y for some reason...
  17. I've had acid as well. And this weird leaf thing you put in your mouth. But I only tried both once or twice. Weed, alcohol and bacci are the only things I do regularly.
  18. Jus' weed. Alcohol and tabacco as well.
  19. Round 1: Hurts Like Heaven Round 2: Shiver Round 3: Charlie Brown Round 4: The Scientist Round 5: Clocks Round 6: Trouble Round 7: Green Eyes Round 8: Warning Sign Round 9: Strawberry Swing Round 10: A Rush of Blood To The Head Round 11: Amsterdam I don't see the point in going beyond 11 tracks since most of their albums end there
  20. Round 1: MX/Hurts Like Heaven Round 2: Paradise Round 3: Charlie Brown Round 4: The Scientist Round 5: Clocks Round 6: Major Minus Round 7: Green Eyes Round 8: Warning Sign Round 9: Up In Flames Round 10: A Rush Of Blood To The Head Round 11: Amsterdam
