Guy Berryman: 'Mylo Xyloto was soundtrack album' (Plus Exclusive REVIEW by Chris Martin himself!!!)
I wasn't expecting UFO to be "acoustic." Huh.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
B&H into Guiding Light? Oh god, all my vomit... that's just plain wrong.

Guiding Light was really bad too.

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
The only song off of VLV that hasn't ever appealed to me is probably 42. TR just seems extremely cheesy in comparison, especially lyrically. But I will say that is probably has nicer melodies... maybe I'm just biased to VLV because of sentimental reasons and I'm not as exposed to some of those songs on the radio as much as Uprising, Undisclosed Desires, and Resistance are. Sure Viva La Vida got HEAVY radio play for a while and I let go of that one, maybe Violet Hill too, but they came back to me a lot better than Resistance or UD are. Muse is much more talented than Coldplay though.

Don't get me wrong, I really enjoy Muse, but VLV >>>> TR :(

Charlie Brown and ETIAW to finish it off? Or is this going to be longer?

Just in time for Parasite.

The newest they'll probably get is Paradise and/or Up In Flames, unfortunately. He said that they're already sort of fresh or something along those lines. Wouldn't mind the world debut of DLIBYH or Car Kids be it a song. Letterman would certainly get a lot more hits if they debuted a new song on his show.

Apple Earphones
I assume you have a shuffle? Oh no, does that mean you're stuck buying the ones from apple? :\ I don't mean to rain on anyone's parade, you're welcome to use those headphones if you're not interested in high-quality sound or anything fancy, but I'd go with some nice Bose headphones, or Samsung or something a little bit nicer. Not to mention the fact that those headphones have a much greater longevity than apple's chear earphones. :\ But as I said, if you want the apple kind with the fancy voice inside that tells you what's what on your shuffle, it's okay. :)

Arcade Fire
I think it's a pathetic excuse for an Arcade Fire song.

The music forum's take on Paradise
Muse and Coldplay fangirls are both pretty bad. :p

Arcade Fire
Rococo is great; musically, it shows the Arcade Fire I've come to know and love. We Used To Wait and Ready To Start... not so much.

The Antlers "Hospice"
Nothing they've done before Burst Apart has ever and probably will ever appeal to me... :\ But Burst Apart is probably the best thing they've done musically.

MX Length
Despite even what was going around about MX being a longer track... I just couldn't see that melody panned-out across an entire song. Maybe if it were a segment or something... but I'm okay with this. :)

MX Review (Austin Listening Party)
I'm taking this review with a fraction of a grain of salt, but it's a nice little insight. :)

Single/Album versions...
It's probably just a more fluid mix with the rest of the album, nothing too special. They're not going to strip it down in any which way... although I would NOT mind an acoustic incarnate of ETIAW later down the road...
