Exactly, I'm excited to see how it'll come out live. You'd think that a straight-up reference to Kung Fu Panda 2 would turn me off, but it doesn't. :shrug: I knew DLIBYH would end up making the album and even though it has kind of a shitty title, in the context of the song it works.

I like DLIBYH, it's a lot noisier than it should be and I don't exactly think Eno/Dravs should produce a song like that because they don't know how to make noisy stuff, but other than that it's pretty good.

I could have elaborated, but I honestly don't feel like it. Mylo Xyloto will get reviews of all kinds, I'll let everyone else do the talking and cite some reviews that see fit with what I think. :p

I've given it more time and it stands as a solid 7/10. :shrug: UFO has grown on me and UWTB is now my favorite, POC > ETIAW >>>> Paradise, Charlie Brown and HLH are nice anthems, MX and AHT are really sweet, DLIBYH is bright and energetic and even a little shoegazy, Major Minus is still incredibly U2-lite, UATW is always incredible, and Up In Flames is monotonous and reflects how poorly Chris Martin's talent is aging. 7/10. Kind of meh, alright, easy to get sick of.

POC is different, yet the same people telling us we're not going to get Parachutes II are the same ones shitting on it and saying it's worse than Paradise. I seriously bet that deep down they're just bitter about Rihanna and how she stole the spotlight. I mean by the ending of Up In Flames, are you (not speaking to you, just ranting in general) seriously upset that Chris isn't whining all of her parts on there? His voice isn't exactly aging well...

I think so. If not this time, then LP6 for sure.

Paradise definitely shouldn't have been a single, it's just forced everywhere and pure trifle. If they're going to make POC a single, they shouldn't have made Paradise a single.

Note that it comes out on R&S, the label responsible for bringing is CMYK and Klavierwerke. This'll be a lot more electronic and dubby than s/t and ET. :D :D

I like this idea. :) A few contenders for me: I know that Radiohead, James Blake, and Memphis have got some great stuff I'll need to see if they've got anything I'm forgetting. SOTY lists are a lot harder to make than AOTY lists.

My favorite three-song combination is AHT/DLIBYH/UWTB. Paradise is the only Coldplay song that's come close enough to me deleting from my library, I never usually do this and especially not with concept albums. :shrug: Fuck that song, no it does not sound better in context with the album. It's still as bad as when we first heard it.

I'd prefer a sappy love song to a song about an emotionally upset preteen girl.
