Well why wouldn't we have a laugh a little bit instead of all the arguments in Paradise section? This thread makes more sense to me than most of them in here.

Essentially, the lyrics lack effort, they lack meaning. Not only that, but the band also got used to repeating ooooooh's in many songs and that is really not something what I can relate to when listening to their songs.

Yeah, I'm as well interested in how the band would react to negative feedback.

@42rock89 I think it's not at all about not accepting the fact that Coldplay is changing and doing experiments, it's simply about not liking that change. That's all.

^The lyrics have severely declined in quality since the ARoBttH era. An example will do: Amsterdam Come on, oh my star is fading And I see no chance of release I know I'm dead on the surface But I am screaming underneath ETiaW I turn the music up, I got my records on... I feel my heart start beating too my favourite song It was a waa-waa-waaterfall Paradise This could be para-para-paradise... So yeah...no difference at all.

Parasite :lol: Well, I hope some of the general disappointment in ETiaW has reached their ears before coming up with Up in Flames so they made some improvement in recording the song.

In all sincerity, I would definitely say I don't like it. What, if Chris Martin expects from people no less than praise his songs to the skies, he may as well fuck off. I wouldn't bash the song though, I'd just answer his question. And for the record, I'd praise to the skies almost everything he's done before MX.

Somehow I think the band is not aware of the concern and frustration among the fans. Of course, I don't mean to delude myself into thinking that her reading that explanation of yours would have any impact on the band. It would be nice if it had,though.

I want a decent new song, I've waited too long and then they released Paradise. :blank: If Paradise was any good, it would occupy me until the album was released but this way I am definitely paying attention to that show in Austin. And when MX comes out, I'll have studio versions to listen to. As we've witnessed, they can be quite different than live ones.

Perhaps it came out as narrow minded but it wasn't intended as such. Anyway, so what if it's your interpretation too? I was sort of asking him for a possible reply since he started the thread, not you.
