Everything Olympics 2012
I've heard the Arctic Monkeys may play the opening or closing ceremony. I don't know if that's true but it'd be sweet if it was.

MUSICIANS WELCOME!!! "How We See The World" Project - A New Beginning?
I'd love to maybe help make some music for this but I'm such a slacker it probally won't happen. Still, sounds like this is going to be awesome. Is there a deadline?

Coldplay's Twitter
So, is that where the movie is being filmed?

Do you think Guy will leave Coldplay?
I don't think he'll leave but I think he'll definitely start writing and/or singing Coldplay songs. He has a lot of talent and he contributes a ton already but I think he has a lot of potential to sing and stuff, especially since he's coming out of his shell with Apparatjik. Just my thoughts though.

People from NYC, I need your help!
So I was recentally there but I forgot to take any pictures for you  However, I'll try to add more stuff: 1. They're building a few new World Trade Centers, one of which will be like the biggest building in the Western Hemisphere. It's still getting built so half of it is glass and shiny but the top is still the "skeleton" part. 2. Speaking of construction there's a heck of a lot of scaffolding all around the city and on the side walks. I don't know what they're building half the time though cause a lot of these have been there for years. (I walked under one in manhattan and on a wall underneath it was an add for "Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends featuring the hit Violet Hill") 3. I think this has been mentioned but everyone ignores stop signs, cars and people. You pretty much walk when you can otherwise you'll be there for ever. 4. I've seen pictures posted of Fire Escapes so I guess you got that. A lot of houses (apartments really) have air conditioning units hanging out the windows becuase the houses are pre-air conditioning and many/most of them still lack centrel air. 5. I don't know if they do this in other cities but in front of stores they have these big metal things (I can't remember what they are called...) they pull down so the stores don't get robbed. These are often spray painted in a manner that would make Chris Martin very proud! 6. Building wise you may have a shiny new building next to a teniment style house, but you can probally see this in a lot of photographs. Edit: Here's a link to a picture of WTC 1 which is in construction:

The Dark Knight Rises
This movie was awesome! I really like... I still don't know what I think about Bane as the villian. He's just a juggernaut and I've always like the more flamboyent villans. After seeing the movie though I can see why they chose him

Mass shooting at Batman premiere
That's really terrible. And, as the article says, a lot of them were probally really young. I sometimes have trouble believing we live in world where people can be this cruel. My heart goes out to the families of the victims.

The Who
They've just announced they'll be touring Quadropehnia in the U.S!! :D it's my favorite Who album so I'm psyched! They also seem to be doing something for the Olympics, (Roger used the word "recorded") which is very exciting. Tickets for the tour go on sale July 27 for anyone Who's interested. They'll also be showing a Quadrohenia documentary on July 24 in the U.S and August 1st in Canada. Here's the link with the tour dates and there's also an in depth interview on their website. http://thewho.com/story/tickets-on-sale-beginning-friday-july-20-general-public-on-sale-july-27/

I lost power too. For like a week. It was really bad cause there was no air conditioning. Yeah I haven't played video games in a really long time and I don't know why. I played Super Nintendo a couple weeks ago though. Super Mario World is the best.

That's a lot of space between issues, especially if there is a cliff hanger. Although I guess this will get an official/re-release around that time:shrug:

Rolling Stones, Anyone?
Mick Avory! That's awesome! Edit: The Kinks just posted on Facebook that contrary to popular belief, Mick Avory didn't actually play at the gig, he only rehearsed for it. So who really drummed? I guess Charlie Watts:shrug: Sure had me confused.
