I can only go by the reported numbers. Their couple networth is estimated at 48 mil pounds whereas each of Chris' bandmates has 32 mil pounds. Also, I read an interview where Gwyneth said she didn't inherit anything from her parents, not yet anyway. Her dad wanted her to go out and make her own money.

Tell your friend Chris makes more money than Gwyneth. Also Coldplay could be way richer if they didn't reject advertisement deals. Money definitely has nothing to do with it.

I don't know the whole story behind this, but during the time Chris was banned from the bakery by Eno, he made a round of a few radio stations, playing solo. Before playing Shiver, he told this radio host that they hadn't played it for a long time b/c Guy doesn't like it.
