I don't know why... but it kind of reminded me of the song 'Go Do' by Jonsi. I think it's the percussion.

Surprises: -The last three tracks are completely amazing. They made this album amazing. -Every Teardrop and Major Minus sound so much better to me now. -Charlie Brown almost made me poop my pants. It seriously went from super quiet to super loud. Awesome production on this song BTW. It doesn't sound fake and embellished. Just enough soul. -UFO!!!! -Princess of China amazing!! I don't care what people say. Disappointments: -Up In Flames (I was actually hoping this wasn't on the album) -I honestly couldn't hear anything from Jonny on Hurts Like Heaven. -Paradise is still lame. -Even though Us Against The World is still awesome, the beginning sounds like something I could make on garageband.

Actually my least favorite from the album... :P

It's not a decline in popularity, just the popularity amongst those who don't like the new stuff. There's a completely different crowd that's going to like this new stuff... and that new crowd coming in is going to be bigger than the old crowd leaving.

I don't know! It's just so amazing to me! The layers of crackling synth at the beginning, the synth-scream, then the bassy boom with Chris's voice. It's a swirling pink wave of nighttime fluorescent sound against a background of high-tech architecture. If that doesn't make sense, it probably shouldn't because that's just the imagery it evokes with me, personally. It's structure -- although disguised as exhibitionist sonic ear-candy -- is subtly ingenious. The chord changes so natural it's hard to distinguish when they actually happen. Speaking of exhibitionist, I think that's why Rihanna fits so swimmingly into it (in my opinion). It's perfect. It's not trying to be amazing because it knows it's amazing. The production isn't as pop-y as Paradise or ETIAW sounds, yet it's probably their pop-iest song yet. This is all my opinion of course. I think it's glorious, but it's so simple. Paradise and ETIAW pale in comparison as singles to this work of pure awesomeness!! :D

The reason why it's amazing is because it doesn't try to be amazing. Paradise sounded like it was trying to be amazing. ETIAW sounded like that too. This is so straight-forward and atmospheric. GAHH!! I LOVE IT!

Just figured out that Princess of China will be streamed on Itunes tomorrow at 10:00am central standard time (right now it's 2:56pm Central Standard Time) AND... JosephRengifo says he's found a legitimate possibility for another leak. He's downloading it now and will share it if it's true.
