Yes, how could I forget to mention the guitars and piano. I had crushes on the few guys at school who could play guitar. Melts the girls' hearts, I tell you.

Lately mine has been Amsterdam...not sure why. Maybe because I 'think' I can sing it well. Ha. My poor son on our drives to school. Now we just listen to MX and he's been really listening to the lyrics and surprises me with them at random times of the day. I hope he doesn't hate that I played Coldplay 24/7 like my own mother played Julio Iglesias when I was a kid. I know every lyric to every one of his songs. lol

I have to say The Scientist - love all the effort in learning the song backwards. Amazing. And his smile/laughter towards the end (or beginning depending on how you look at it) is amazing. Life in Technicolour II was great as was Strawberry Swing. I love the creativity. Disappointed with ETIAW and Paradise was pretty and cute, but nothing too exciting.

I agree completely! :) Although Johnny Depp is on my official 'if I ever had a chance to sleep with him, I have permission from my husband' list, I might have to add Chris even though I like the dark and handsome type. There is something about his honesty, he's just charming and funny. As I posted earlier, he's in my dreams now, which is so bizarre. Many times I prefer the interviews to the performances since I like to hear Chris talk to the audience and interviewers. And gotta love the accent.

Clearly, I didn't win. But I sent them a note to their Contact Us helpdesk and they never responded but I did get an auto reply. I forgot to resend each day, but I did manage to get a few others working so they did fix it in the end. Oh well.

Must be a tough life for them, but glad to see them all at the park together. Remember, the kids really don't know a life that is different from theirs so I don't feel sorry for them - they won't have to worry about the same things non-celeb families worry about; they have other concerns. Glad their parents do try to shelter them from all the negativity, but its inevitable. This is their version of normal.

When you're thinking about when they announce their next concert and can't help but worry if you'll get decent tickets because nothing compares to being first row at a FREE concert in Toronto. Gotta get creative NOW. When you listen to MX day in and day out and try to compare the leak vs. the actual digital download. (I hear no differences EMI...!) When you think about ways to meet Chris...there's got to be a thread about how to meet the band, right...?

That's too funny! I have also been going to sleep after watching and listening to interviews and performances. In one dream, Chris and I were married and just hanging out somewhere sitting on the ground, perhaps a park. We were having some nice conversation (can't recall about what) and I said, hey, don't you think your wife should have you on BBM? He smiled and said, yes, of course! So he added me. Another time, he was on tour and had his own room but had a connecting room next door the family would be coming to stay in soon. We may have been fooling around (don't remember), but I remember clearly I shouldn't have been there. So when someone came in from the other room, I had to hide in the closet but it was a strange closet so when someone walked by, I was trying to be frozen, but someone saw me and I ran out the window. There was another one where I felt so guilty that Chris and I were 'hanging together' since we were both married with children. It must have been a pretty vivid dream because I clearly remember the guilt as though it were a real relationship and I was betraying my husband, Gwyneth and all the kids.

Heard Major Minus in an Old Navy store days after ETIAW was released. I was loving it. :)

I just finished watching the show online again. I have to say, I completely take back what I said earlier. The finished product (and watching in a quiet room without my 4 year old screaming) definitely made a difference! I love all the mistakes they made (BEST was God Put a Smile on Your Face!) and their energy was amazing - both theirs and the crowd's. The vocals didn't seem as bad second time around, maybe because I didn't listen to them much today other than on XM Radio with the occasional studio song. I am super excited for their tour and wouldn't mind this setlist at all. It was pretty complete. But it's always nice to throw in a few older songs they usually don't perform. Thanks for all the amazing pictures! Wish I had actually been there!

I only watched about 7 or 8 songs but I can see already that Chris was little over excited, the vocals weren't great, a little painful at times. Granted, they were having fun, which is great to see. The audience was phenomenal and the venue was spectacular and unique. Like someone else said earlier, perhaps we've been spoiled since we've seen EVERY festival and live performance in 4 months so nothing is a surprise to us. It would be great for them to mix things up a bit. I do hope that the official tour will be slightly different as I feel like I've seen it all. The setlist did seem a bit short, but was still okay. I was front row here in Toronto for their gig at Much Music in September and I felt the performance was super solid...maybe they're just getting tired and need a bit of a break.

I honestly understand people's criticism. I had mixed reviews after worshiping their live performances of their new material for months. The studio stuff does sound different. But think about older albums - they sounded so similar live vs. studio (although the BEST live band EVER!) This is a treat now that we can hear some of the most incredible creativity ever produced with layers and layers of sounds that I can't get enough of (we started to hear that with VLV) and also have a great treat with the live performances. Coldplay will never be a disappointment to me. They are growing as artists and although new material is not ALWAYS an immediate favourite, it definitely grows on you. I think the success us serious fans are looking for helps support what we've been loving this last decade. To hear my husband defend Coldplay at work was a real treat. He's finally taken a drink of the kool-aid! Success! I guess that's what playing the album day and night does. Sang the opening verses of Paradise with my 4 year old to get him to sleep tonight with a big smile on his face. Gotta love it. :)

:) Can you imagine how tired they must be? Esp Chris who doesn't sleep anyway. I noticed he seemed off and bit nervous on Colbert last night...but they were full of energy today. Its non-stop interviews for them! Can't wait for the song-by-song breakdown next week.

Looks like it was a great show, lots of energy. Anyone notice Chris singing the lyrics wrong in ETIAW? I kinda laughed cause I think he knew he didn't really cover it up very well. :) Its those little mistakes that make me love them even more!

Just caught the last few mins of Fix You on the West coast feed. Missed it this morning, so tired after waiting up for Colbert Report. Anyone record the Today Show performance? Please post the link as soon as you can. Appreciate all the effort people go to to record all the multimedia. Wish I knew how so I could contribute too!

I live in Canada and have an XM subscription. I'm on now but I can't find this Coldplay Channel. Super annoyed! I wonder if its only for US subscribers...XM and Sirius are separate here, but one company in the US. Anyone know what channel it is? Looking forward to the Town Hall on November 9th on Spectrum Channel, which I CAN get at least.

It was absolutely a schedule change. Too bad. Stayed up specifically for this! Let's hope its great tomorrow! The shows are pre-taped but the same day. Roadie said they were going back to east coast (for sure tonight or tomorrow). Go to sleep everyone!

Enjoyed this interview. I love that Chris praises Gwyneth! I think the kids are old enough to understand that refusing to speak about her when the tabloids are rampant with rumours of divorce doesn't help anyone! Wonder if he's changed for their sake... Proud of the fact that he's finally comfortable with it! Nothing bad can come of it!
