Yep, a lighter Doves... When I listen to Some Cities, it feels like Coldplay could have made that album, especially if they had used other producers. Also U2 the guitars, Keane the piano, Jeff Buckley the voice. The production of X&Y itself reminds me of U2, Grandaddy, etc.

Hey chill, everything's cool :cool: I think almost all of us here still think X&Y is a good record (or at least better than a lot of stuff out there)... :thumbsup: Evolution's a good thing, we're just nit-picking at some things we thought would sound better if done differently :D Me for instance... I do genuinely like the record and even love most of it, it's just that I do notice some things, which make the album less enjoyable... This is just the forum for us to air those views... It's not meant to be a "hate thread" per se ;)

Since Coldplay are not rock enough to be considered rock by some, what would you call Greenday/Blink 182's music? Rock or pop trash?

Indoor. I think the sound quality would be better... Not so scattered. Unless of course they do it somewhere in Italy, one of the coliseums... I've seen a pix, it's amazing: it'd look beautiful and the sound would still be good
