Well sure, but there's a huge difference between VLV and MX. Viva was "mature", about epic stuff n history, and MX is childish, goofy, colorful. VLV is still a better record, but I really, really love MX. :elephant: I'm not disappointed by it at all. PS Car Kids.

LOL I don't really care for genres. I like good music from any genre. If I like a pop song, I'll listen to it. LOUD AND PROUD. :D I'm not pretentious... The only thing I don't like is metal. And simple, pathetic electronic music a la Guetta, Pitbull, etc.

When artists do something that they really like and it happens to be commercially viable, I don't consider them sellouts. I'm pretty damn sure they're enjoying themselves on stage, so they're not doing it just for the money. And more than anything else, I admire artist who constantly change and reinvent themselves and their music. Even if the change is sometimes for the worse, it's still better than sticking to a formula, like Nickelback.

Ahh those pop bitches... Sure, there comes along a song I like (e.g. I Kissed A Girl) but most of the time I can't stand them. Katy Perry is a great example because her album Teenage Dream is sooo bad and I find it offending that it's yealed 5 #1 singles. The offensive part is that she is behaving like a 13 year old girl, making music for 13 year olds because she and the people behind her know that that's the biggest audience. :|
