Hardly surprising as Parachutes is my least favourite Coldplay album by an absolute mile.

Round one: Politik vs Always In My Head - Politik is their best opener, so have to go with that! Round two: In My Place vs Magic - very tough. I live IMP, but I've heard it so many times! Magic is still "fresh", so I'll go with that. Round three: God Put A Smile Upon Your Face vs Ink - an interesting one, but again, because I've heard GPASUYF so many times, I'll go with Ink. It's a fun and poppy song! Round four: The Scientist vs A Sky Full Of Stars - I love Coldplay when their music is at its brightest, and that resonates through in their more up-tempo work. Round five: Clocks vs True Love - Clocks is the Grand Daddy of Coldplay songs. It's their "Sunday Bloody Sunday". Have to go with it. Round six: Daylight vs Midnight - Midnight, easily. Round seven: Green Eyes vs Oceans - not a massive fan of either, but Oceans is too slow for me. Round eight: Warning Sign vs Another's Arms - Warning Sign >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Round nine: Amsterdam vs O - can't decide. Amsterdam is my favourite Coldplay song - but I think O is fast overtaking it. So I'll split. A 4:4 draw, with Amsterdam and O as a draw. A fair reflection!

I'm expecting Mylo Xyloto v. 2:0. Which I'd be delighted with.

My biggest criticism with GS: "Ghost Story" isn't on it.

O isn't a hidden song. In an interview with Zane Lowe, Chris said they have given up given songs split titles, such as Yes!/Chinese Sleep Chant or Lovers in Japan/Reign of Love. They just chose to call the entire piece of music O instead of Fly On/O.

Not all that enamoured by All Your Friends - but its better than Another's Arms. Why Ghost Story isn't on there is insane!

For me, Another's Arms is the weakest and dullest song from GS. The only thing that stops it from being awful is Johnny's guitar work.

Where does it fit in with their catalogue? For me... Viva la Vida - 9/10 A Rush of Blood to the Head - 9/10 Mylo Xyloto - 8/10 Ghost Stories - 7.5/10 X&Y - 6.5/10 Parachutes - 6/10.

1. O (Fly On) - 10/10 - Pure perfection. Up there with Amsterdam and Every Teardrop as one of my favourites. 2. Midnight - 9/10 - a whole new direction. Dreamy and haunting. 3. A Sky Full of Stars - 8.5/10 - love the dance vibe. Its uplifting and heart-warming. 4. Magic - 8/10 - relaxed and melodic, and without the massive crescendo build-up of songs like Fix You. 5. Always in my Head - 7.5/10 - I'm not too keen on the live performances, but the studio version is great. 6. Ink - 7/10 - standard Coldplay pop song. Nothing spectacular but certainly listenable and very fun! 7. True Love - 7/10 - as above! 8. Oceans - 6.5/10 - I think this is a grower. The first time I listened to it, I wasn't enamoured by it. But its certainly a return to their roots. 9. Another's Arms - 3/10 - I hope it's a grower. I hate the album version; live it sounds okay. I just hate the overproduced sound and the soppy lyrics.

I think this song is more beautiful than Amsterdam.
