Lower section at my local stadium was around $140 a ticket. When I saw them during MX (arena) I think it was $120 for about the same location. I would like to see them tone it back on how much they're spending for each show. As much as I think the xylobands are looking very cool this time around I feel like they're backing themselves into a creative corner with their shows which is also raising ticket prices pretty high.

As an album Hot Fuss is without a doubt in my Top 5 if I could only pick one per artist. There isn't a single low point in the album.

Found a video The tempo is closer to the studio recording than live 2003, I like both though. I miss Will's backup vocals but overall this was a pretty good performance.

It's funny that some of these songs could be arranged differently if they were being assessed on their individual qualities but as album openers they fall into place another way.

I don't know how these things work but I will do this: Best to Worst Politik Life in Technicolor, I don't count ii as the same song because LiT has part of the Jon Hopkins sample that comes back in The Escapist to tie the album together. It might be a good idea for someone to create a thread listing every request thus far and keep it up to date (along with videos if possible). I'd make it myself but I doubt I'd be able to keep it up to date.

Well I think it's more of a way for them to take a pulse of what the fans are looking for. Maybe some of it is data driven, 100 requests for Strawberry Swing could be more likely to be chosen over 8 requests for Spies. (I'd take either)

I'd like to see AROBTTH, heck I'd PAY (like actually pay because I think you could do a really good job) to see AROBTTH. I always imagined it as Chris sitting down in a field of grain with a gun in one hand (pistol/revolver, old western style) and his face buried in the other (elbow on leg face in hand) (pose) (environment) Behind him (like 100 or so feet) is a burning farmhouse and it all takes place at night, you can see the wind push the flames on the building. There's a group of men running towards the building with rifles, in soldier uniforms similar to what they wore during VLV. Next to Chris is a shadowy figure of a woman who is standing and resting a hand on his shoulder. I really wish I had the skill to make it myself because I've had the idea for so long. The only art I'm blessed in is music.

Parachutes Side A: Don't Panic Shiver Sparks Yellow Parachutes Side B: High Speed Trouble We Never Change Spies Everything's Not Lost (Life is for Living) Spies is probably has the biggest sound on the album aside from Yellow, so keeping them on different sides helps keep the album energy consistent instead of it blowing its load on the A-side, which is fine in my opinion but I'm in charge right now so I'm changing it because I can. Trouble into Parachutes into High Speed into We Never Change really sucks the tempo out of the album before Everything's Not Lost comes around and (in my opinion) delivers the best track off the album. It's like spoiling your entree with free bread.

X&Y Honestly I tried making like 5 different track orders and I still can't find one that works. What I've decided is that Swallowed in the Sea should "end" the album, Twisted Logic should end the A side which includes tracks like Square One, White Shadows, Talk, Speed of Sound (maybe). B side starts with X&Y and contains Fix You, Swallowed in the Sea, A Message, What If, etc. The only issue I have with Swallowed in the Sea ending the album is that it isn't very big compared to Twisted Logic, which obviously is the closer for a reason and SitS into TL is a good choice for a good reason. BUT if I was forced to do it here's my track listing: Side A: Square One White Shadows Talk The Hardest Part Low Speed of Sound Twisted Logic Side B: X&Y Fix You A Message What If Swallowed in the Sea (Til Kingdom Come) Again Twisted Logic and Swallowed in the Sea are really a toss-up but I think Swallowed in the Sea has a more thematic message for the B-side which is filled with songs about emotions and all that Chris Martin stuff while the A-side is more outward with themes like space and humanity and purpose which gets wrapped up nicely in Twisted Logic.

He's actually a very casual fan so it makes it extra intriguing but he also has been exposed to them from me so I'm sure it's come on once or twice over the years. I bought him a ticket to go see them on the upcoming date in Philadelphia with me, even if we're 10 years late to a setlist we'd really care for.

My friend recently told me out of the entire discography, his favorite song is X&Y. Now that he mentions it, X&Y is probably one of my favorites off the album.

It was pretty cool but I'm pretty sure stage 2 was totally random in where the keys needed to win were placed which was the only thing holding me back from getting a perfect score as it was basically a dice roll to get a good time.

The .ipa might be online somewhere but if I remember correctly you need an account to play the game and you can't create an account anymore. I could be wrong but I believe that's why I removed it from my old iPod.

Did anyone else play the Strawberry Swing mobile game back when the video was being promoted? I remember making it up the top 30 on the world leaderboard. 1st place every week got a signed copy of VLV I think.
