  1. Well they're putting on a good show, just not really a good Coldplay show. Personally I liked 2002 better because Spies and Don't Panic were beautifully done. I don't think Chris really cares about doing anything well as much as he wants to put on a show. He still has a decent voice but I feel like he doesn't try nearly as much as he used to. You can tell in his body language he's just less invested in the lyrics and singing, compare how he sung even VLV in 2008 to now, Clocks kind of goes without saying.
  2. Yeah that was the issue His piano was either out of tune due to the weather or something else.
  3. Piano is down a step or two. Not complaining so far.
  4. Ok, playing in Amsterdam today and tomorrow. Please let it happen.
  5. Has anyone found good videos of the recent setlist changes? AIMH, GE, etc.
  6. Is there audio of this yet? Mainly AIMH GE GPASUYF
  7. My dad works for Coldplay and he says you're fired
  8. Why are we giving advice to a post from 2012
  9. I'll stick with the LRLRL version but check Strawberry Swing of the list. Next one I'm hoping for is Spies or Everything's Not Lost.
  10. LRLRL version tops it but that was great
  11. oh babyHKEJSWFRUIAWEYSHLKFGRS YES YES YES YES
  12. Was it a request though? No video played.
  13. Makes me really want to hear Spies played again.
  14. Swallowed in the Sea is such a simple song but it perfectly demonstrates how they can make any song "Coldplay" for lack of a better word. This song in particular has always moved up and down my list of favorites because sometimes I feel like there's better songs to offer but other times it really hits the spot.
  15. Matt McGinn also talks about this in Roadie (if you haven't read it yet READ IT)
  16. Yeah I remember checking the hypnofeed all the time for cool stuff. I think it started around 2009? I remember seeing this video on it
  17. I've actually been listening to X&Y recently, I honestly don't know where to place it when comparing it to the other 3. I really like some tracks a lot but I usually skip over Low and The Hardest Part unless I haven't heard it in a while.
  18. Wow I just got tricked, thought it was gonna be army of one.
  19. That's pretty neat. I'm not very informed on pricing stuff like this but I don't think it's worth much, the packaging itself while different, is still just a sleeve. AROBTTH is my favorite album but I have a copy and something like this I would only ever consider if it was <$40. To be totally honest like I said I'm not very informed on this so maybe I'm low-balling it. Now if there's something else in there maybe we're talking but who knows.
  20. Yeah there's a clear contrast between now and say Live 03. People came to hear the music and see the band. I talk to people all the time who saw them live BEFORE MX and still say it was one of the best concerts they ever went to, because they were just that good live.
  21. To be fair remembering lyrics is way more difficult for me than remembering how to play a song. With that being said, it's kind of his job.
  22. As it turns out, working full time and taking college classes eats up most of your time. I'll watch that See You Soon performance when I get home. Still waiting on Strawberry Swing though.
