I came up with a theory this morning ... We know Coldplay's music reflects a lot of Chris Martin's mood and we can see some obvious links between the type of music Coldplay choses to make and the private life of Chris. Let me clear my point : Ghost Stories was a direct answer to his divorce with Gwyneth Paltrow and AHFOD was the album of rebirth after his depression. I associate theses two records because there were all THERAPEUTIC which means that Chris was not completely free with his music and it was linked with some personal events he had in his life. The experimentation of Arabesque makes me believe that Chris is finally free from this hard period of time and can compose without any thoughts or strong personal feelings, and it creates another kind of beauty : the beauty of Arabesque, of real musical experimentation which reminds me the VLV era. Hope the rest of the record will be as free as Arabesque is. Sorry for my english i'm not fluent !

Linkin Park was the band who opened me to the world of Music. Chester was my idol. I'm really destroyed, A part of my life and of the lives of LP's family is gone now, and everything will be different. It's still hard to write something but i see a whole family with the same scar, the same sadness. May this sadness unite us all. Long live Music.

Honestly, each song explores something different and Miracles feels like another piece of new instrumentation as Aliens was ! I love the beats, made me think of Michael Jackson - They Don't Care About at some parts ! Rapping on a Coldplay song must be really hard but i appreciate it too, it doesn't seem too poppy or radio-friendly and his flow is quite unusual ! That's a really good EP mates.

Ahah me too, i mean it's an awesome song but i hope Chris kept and the band have kept such good inspiration for the next studio album ! I'm full of hope now ! ut Yeah we'll never know, maybe they created the rest way later ! But yeah you're right for MX :)

That means it's a VLV B-Side ... I'm a little bit disappointed because they didn't create it in recent times and i hope they haven't lost that kind of inspiration now !

This is ... different ! At least we can't say they're stuck to the same genre ... I'm sure it will grow in me, the instrumental is good and all the EP seems to be deeper, melodically and lirically speaking, than AHFOD ! Edit : Well it's definitely an awesome song. AND THOSE STRINGS AT THE END :heart:

I'm really happy to hear that beautiful song just after " Something just like this ". The beginning made me think of the beginning of Daydreaming ( Radiohead ) and the whole song has a " Prospekts March " sound which is wonderful. I'm happy to hear that Chris and the band have kept such a musical identity !

No it is not ! We were really close to the stage and it is perfect for those who are in front of the stage ! I heard some people who where far from it found it more difficult to see them because the stage is not that high ! But i talk about Nice, maybe it will be different in other stadiums

It was my first Coldplay concert, my favourite band since i'm 17 and i'm 22 now, so this was a very very special night to me. And i was just in front of the stage, so i saw the entire band just in front of my eyes. It is such a strange feeling ... It's like i saw so many videos and interviews of them that i've almost forgot they really exist haha ... I didn't cry ( well some tears for Fix You ), but i've screamed for 2 hours and now i can't speak. What striked me is the positive energy the band and especially Chris give us. The atmosphere of AHFOD tour is very zen, calm ... And even if we were tired of all the travel, they gave us a very peaceful and incredible atmosphere. It's like they took out all the anger and the hatred and told us " We haven't got time for that, let's party together and be happy whatever people say " And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the true definition of music. Music is a party. And Coldplay unites us all for that party.

Vous pensez que c'est mieux de venir à quelle heure pour la queue ? Dans l'après-midi ou dès le matin ?

I know, but Coldplay still my favorite band after all, even if i know that their music, objectively, has not the quality of Radiohead music. I know that's sound strange

Daydreaming may become one of my favorites songs of the band. Absolutely stunning ... And i'm sad to say it, better than any Coldplay song since a long time ...

For those who haven been in a MX and AHFOD concert, which one is the best for you ? Or even if you didn't, what's your opinion about it ?
