  6. While that is true, I think it really depends on the person. I mean, for me, my education is BEYOND important to me. I mean, I worked my ass off just to get into the program I'm in, and they only accept a select few each year. If my grades fall under a C, I can be kicked out. He is my friend and I do care about him, but lately I've been spreading myself waay too thin. I've got some issues with my family that have been bugging me and I guess the only real reason I was getting upset was b/c the entire time he's talking about his girlfriend and how pretty she is and he doesnt' want to let her go, I could be telling him something that i'm going through. I mean he wants it to be a discussion, but it's not. It's one-sided and I'm just taking in his problems and loading them up on my own. I got it..if just for "she is pretty and I don't want let her go", which is bullshit...then you can save your time wisely...

I think friend/family members are much important than what, study..I mean, think about it, how many friends you have that will call you at midnight for "emergency"...or how many friends you have that you will call them in the same situation. Not so much, at least for me. I think that' the most important time that they need support/love. Maybe they are kind of insane even, but your listening/accompany is soo important...well, use some method too , like how to make him calm or maybe they both need a time to be stable, esp. for relationship...

  10. There is always distance btw your dream/or just your like and the realistic world. I once thought I may choose journalism or even multimedia sth, but I am afraid that I can't fit myself in the commercialization/entertainment world and I feel disgusting even...so I keep a distance from it and take care it as my "after class" major other than taking it as a career stuff... But when I grow up, I have to admit that I am not brave enough..There is no ready meal for you if you really mean to do sth other than dreaming...but sb. dare to try even sacrificing some orginally precioius things... well, before you lost, I gave u an example. I knew a singer in my country, and his music couldn't be so popular at beginning since all the notes/lyrics are about questions/sadness stuff but a truth/beauty as a young man. He hated to be showing himself before mass media like an idiot or shit, non-stopping interview/gig...he just want to make music in stadio or travelling...But later he compromised and considered he is a contract artist and he has commercialization value..he must spend some time for Shit, then he can keep the very pure side of himself in a quiet inner place.... so, if you love sth, and you know that's the meaning of your life, then I say, don't be refrained, just go and get it, but you should prepare to feel depressed/frustrated/broken whatever, I think it deserves in the long run. I still have a dream for music/art in my life, and I probably will not feel shy to say to a boy if I do love him although it always fail :cry: :) , which is so hard to me before though :blush: The only thing I get is No Regret in my life... :cool:

  14. hey, I know chinese young people have some special mood for Oasis....only since 90's we can have sound from outside of the world....i mean mainland...however, the first foreign band for me is U2, then cranberries, then Oasis....but I think more britain people love 60-70 or classic rock more than us... btw, hard to meet a chinese mate here :D well, i do love their music, :)
  15. hmmm...physicially, yes... but sometimes, the heavy in Coldplay style is different in The Strokes style...i mean they are totally different rock. But I know Kitty's meaning. it is funny that I didn't like "heavy" stuff at all, like metallic..but I can totally accept the Strokes' stuff...Take it or Leave it is a heavy piece... but hope they will not do heavier stuff in the third album, otherwise they will lost a loyal fan :snore: :dozey: I still hold that their instrument line is so clear and even simple, bass/guitar/drum..which rocks :cool:

I saw his drawing for Nick then felt so inspiring, maybe "not good" enough in my improfessional way :confused: Haa. I know, he is like a child... :P

So I quited... nah.. i am just playing joke on them, and they are so different typie People..but no band today can compare to 60-70's my fav... :smug: some photos indicated they are drunker/smokers somehow... :cool:
