  1. Yes! Regardless of whether or not you believe VLV and MX have a color song, I think we will get one for real this time around. Or something mentioning a rainbow.
  2. Equality sign on Chris's hand because I think getting the symbol tattooed on shows a lot of sincere dedication to the cause. Chris literally made the Make Trade Fair campaign a part of him! The Scientist's music video vs. Talk's music video
  3. You might be onto something. I just did a quick Google search as well and one Hindu interpretation of the peacock is "the importance of showing one's true colors." We can tell that the color wheel design has some significance in relation to the album. Another interpretation is "the cycle of birth, death, and rebirth." AHFOD isn't the end of Coldplay but something else will begin afterward. They seem to be hinting at a new era for the band from LP8 onward.
  4. AROBTTH album cover. It's so unique, I've never seen anything else like it except for the AROBTTH-era single cover art. Coldplay's Glastonbury set in 2005 vs. Glastonbury set in 2011
  5. I'm imagining a Coldplay song sounding a little like the Beatles classic Norwegian Wood with lots of sitar. I don't think Coldplay would use it that prominently but you never know.
  6. A few days ago I needed to write a poem for a class and I received a 100% grade on the assignment. Maybe that's because I decided to include the phrase "a head full of dreams." :D
  7. I'm voting for Jonny only because Will is my favorite. Will is the most versatile musician in the band, having played not only drums but also timpani, piano, synthesizer, organ, and guitar. Not to mention he is also a great singer. :) :will: Edit: I seem to remember Will playing mandolin as well but I can't remember for sure.
  8. Parlophone! Though Fierce Panda is close just because of its name. Prospekt vs. Roadie 42
  9. This reminds me of the lyrics in the MX and GS artwork. It's like we are deciphering secret messages. :x&y:
  10. Double post :sad2:
  11. Swallowed in the Sea I'm glad Gravity has made it this far!
  12. Round 3's results are in: Mylo Xyloto 6 Parachutes 2 Mylo Xyloto has flown away and gone up with the birds. For those who enjoy MX, don't let it break your heart and smash it into smithereens. The remaining eras to choose from are: Parachutes A Rush of Blood to the Head X&Y Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends Round 4 begins now! My vote is for Parachutes. The album was a solid debut that showed the world what Coldplay are all about, but for me the b-sides and live performances were simply not as good as those of the next three eras. The band was still very shy and hadn't yet become truly great (that would happen shortly after).
  13. Now we know that the Holi-themed music video is not the only Indian connection with AHFOD because of stuff like the Hindi writing on the drums. An Indian style vibe is not out of the question. :) My guess now is that there will be a subtle Indian touch to some songs, similar to the Latin music influence on a few Viva tracks (Cemeteries of London, for example).
  14. Perhaps the show was simply the first tease... maybe they want to drop the single out of nowhere and they were simply letting the world know that they're still around.
  15. Noooo!! Things I Don't Understand is amazing... from the lyrics to that driving rhythm and Guy's bassline. I'm guessing the only reason it wasn't on X&Y is because it sounds a bit similar to Low.
  16. That's beautiful. If it ends up being a lyric...
  17. Swallowed in the Sea
  18. At least at the Global Citizen Festival, the band can do whatever the hell they want since Chris is an organizer of the event. :smug: That would be a much better time to play something new.
  19. Agreed. I hope they don't come back to that event for a long time. "Aww, Chris is so polite, I'm gonna drop my paper again so everyone can see how kind he is." Give me a break.
  20. Well... nothing happened. :D They did sound off, like it just was not their night. From the Viva problems to Chris' voice, they have sounded much better. Fix You was the highlight for me, the rest of the songs were average. At least it was cool to see them all together though. That's one thing I'm thankful for.
  21. Thank you so much!!!!!!!!!! :D It is MUCH les laggy.
  22. Ughhh I'm done with this stupid stream, even the audio one just crashed
  23. Does anyone think that the stream will be on YouTube soon afterwards? I can't remember how long it took last year... My stream is almost unwatchable. :sad2:
  24. Oh god, imagining the band wearing that has scarred me for life. :P
