Okay, here are the results of round 4. I gave the round extra time just to see if any more votes would trickle in... Parachutes 5 Viva 1 By a long margin, Parachutes is out. Everything IS lost for it now! Just three eras remain: AROBTTH :arobtth: X&Y :x&y: Viva :viva: Round 5 begins now. This is the final round of votes before the epic final showdown! My vote is for X&Y. The album and b-sides are stellar, but the tour got no live album or DVD. There was going to be a DVD (possibly from the shows in Toronto) but it was mysteriously cancelled, leaving us Coldplayers to resort to YouTube, bootlegs, and a couple of b-sides to enjoy the Twisted Logic Tour.

Oh, I almost forgot: Coldplay must be fond of butterflies as well (confetti, LRLRL cover, Paradise lyrics).

In the Strawberry Swing video, Chris plays a Superman sort of character who can fly. Also, there is a flight reference in the lyrics of Paradise: "In the night, the stormy night, away she flies."

I think it's High Speed... it is track #8 and you may be tired after running at high speed, haha.

The Grammys aren't as bad as the Video Music Awards have become, but they are still crap. I suppose Coldplay could still win something for the new single if it drops in the next ten days, but again I don't care if they win or not.

You got it right, the song is 42. Deep Thought is the computer in Hitchhiker's Guide that calculates 42 as the answer to the question of life, the universe, and everything. :lol: Your turn. ;)

I don't care about the Grammys. If Coldplay win something, awesome, but if not, I'm not going to get upset about it.

What If Gravity was second in votes but I am still sticking by its side for the next couple of rounds. It deserves to make it to the top 5.

Low? I can't think of a time that Chris mentioned a-ha as an inspiration for one specific song.

When I first bought X&Y and began to discover Coldplay, the album brought me through a lot of crap that was going on in my life. It's not my favorite Coldplay album but it has a special place in my heart that is not shared with the other albums. It's not as good lyrically or sonically but it means more to me on a personal level.

That's right. :P We've been keeping an eye out for a possible single every Monday for more than a month and we won't stop now. :D

Lyrics of A Message. They're less cryptic and mysterious but they're full of more passion and emotion. I like how they're based off of an old hymn (My Song Is Love Unknown). Brian Eno vs. Jon Hopkins

We might as well keep an eye out for the single this week. They have the world's attention again because of the show on Friday so it's best to drop the new single sooner rather than later.

I see Thunder too. These supposed lyrics are wonderful. Even if they don't all make much sense yet, they'll make sense when we actually hear them in songs. Well, like ColdplayingfromKansas said, I sure hope we get to hear them unlike the leftover lyrics on the MX cover.

#SaveGravity!!! :sad2: There is so much raw emotion in that song... only Fix You and Fly On match it in the pure emotion contained within. It's simple but stellar.

^ A lot of those look like titles Radiohead would use. Especially Switch-Touch Gates, Certification Spectrum, Weakling, System Failure But Won't Give Up, SPAC8, and 4.is the 2. of 1. They have this mysterious vibe...

Interesting... may I ask where you heard this rumor about the lead single? Was it the same place that you heard about the Ellie Goulding single? Sorry for asking so many questions, I'm just curious to know.
