That sounds really awesome. It's great to see other ppl being influenced by Jonny's style. I think he can be underappreciated by people who have never tried writing for/playing guitar; and of course it's sometimes assumed that he's just a pretty face and is not remarkably talented. Heheh.

Did you ever notice that many ppl (North Americans) pronounce the band-name as "code-play"? Do you think it represents laziness, a secret wish to be British, or do you think they are secretly crestfallen that the name seems to refer to cruel/nasty behavior? -Love from Mr.Tom Cruise's financee (me).

Do you think the guy who goes as Batman on this site sort of needs to get out and get some fresh air?

His piano playing doesn't impress me (not as nuanced as it might be). It's like a tense music teacher, begrudgingly clanging around, trying to lead the class thru a song, to get a quality result. His guitar playing is less self-conscious, because then he's not responsible for leading the band, but just sort of flowing with the melody. Whatever, though (5).

I wonder who bought it?

I should also add: It sounds great with Chris at the mic and Mr. Bunkland doing guitar. Really nice.

I was really enthralled with his guitar version of Viva la Vida and also by the great tribute that he did at the funeral recently. His voice seems to be more on-point when he's not at the piano.

The story might be true because: 1)Just about everyone in the music business has been cautioned in the same way 2) Chris' early musical influences were questionable in a lot of peoples' eyes and also I think I heard somewhere that he's unable to read music 3) Coldplay as a concept is really hard to describe to people until you hear it (in lieu of providing remote comparisons) He would have been good as a cranky music teacher if he hadn't done music professionally.The Game of Thrones spoof would have actually made a decent musical. He could easily have directed school musicals. But the more current concern is, how can Coldplay stay relevant,not how many ppl might have told them they wouldn't make it. They're putting out good teaser stuff so I don't think they have to worry. P.S. I am faithfully against animal cruelty.

I like hats Did you know some hats contain an alternate dimension? I saw on tv once where this guy was tapping a black top-hat with an e-cigarette (even though it was back during the 80`s ) and then a rabbit fell out of the hat!! Then some ladies`underwear!! Then a zuchinni! It was incredible.

Make sure you say that with an Irish accent because all stuff concerning magic (particularly home remedies) is more convincing when you say it with an Irish accent;P

She Knew about them thru Adam Levine because she and Adam Levine used to date:P Also, if I`m a synchronistical point of convergence, I think she`s my distant relative and so is Chris .:P That might not be of importance...

I think her story is fraudulent because when the attack on her supposedly happened, they were saying she was 12 or something, and she looked 40. Living in the Middle East does not prematurely age you by THAT much. Moslem societies, and Moslems, are generally upbeat, celebratory people. That is why they got along so well with the French. And I have never met a Moslem who was against educating his/her daughters. The concern isn`t really whether Mid-Eastern Moslem girls are educated. The question is, what type of education ? If you`re actually contented to take basic schooling- to, say, a grade-12 level, then take a sewing course and after that get married, why would you want to pay for university? It`s a different culture, and also a different economic structure. That`s just the reality. The Moslem girls themselves would have to be consulted as to whether or not they feel oppressed. Maybe access to resources is a concern too, due to poverty- but I think alot of the Taliban thing is empty rhetoric and that organisation is just a venue where people who are inherently bad can do bad stuff. And it is a way for that part of the world to vent against the Apartheid-type system that they see other moslems (who are too close to Israel) facing.

In that picture I think Chris looks like a Simpsons (cartoon) drawing.... Have yu seen the one of him surfing in California? It`s nicer... I think he looks better in videos and in action-type pictures than in still-photos. Except for the one posted by a girl here on Coldplaying in which his delicate eyelids are closed. Or when he`s staring into space. Those are sexy. :P Seulment mon avis!

Batman, if you are the angry German version of Batman, do you think Chris is the jumpy English version of a cranky French Waiter? (who happens to write fabulous poetry/music- totally a throw-off). ?? And get this: Rihanna (of whom I am a fan) looks like Oscar Petorius` late Girlfriend. And Jennifer Lawrence Looks just like Brevik, the Norwegian terrorist. But I don`t know about their personalities :P Also Derek Jeter looks a little like Vladmir Putin. Which is funny, because both of them are really weird. And Jonny Buckland, when he`s in dozy mode, looks like William Shakespeare when he`s in dozy mode. I do portraits so I notice these things.

-This is a really encyclopedic collection of albums. I don`t think people used to do this sort of thing before they could get music over the internet. For instance, I know alot of music, but I got it mostly from radio or tv (just the released singles) and I usually don`t get stuff off the internet. And I`ve never spent alot of money on music. In fact, every concert i`ve gone to has been free. -The way you`ve arranged your thread is neat though. It`s like an old if/then adventure game programmed in BASIC. You`d think there`d be more modern options, like being able to teleport to a coldplay hotel room and hear the band members singing in the shower. Geesh.
