Can anyone explain something to me? What's the deal with a gazillion girls in a girls band, where only one of the girls sings, and the others are the to go "I know you like me..." in the background... It was pretty bad with beyonce in Destiny's child too but they were only 3(4 at first), and they weren't dancing AROUND beyonce in their videos, they were just beside her.. At first I thought maybe like each single a different girl sings, but the same girl sings in "Stickwitu"... whatever, i'm soo sick of supid boy and girl bands... but i just don't get it, do you?!

I don't understand a lick of the lyrics (in Russian) but this Glukoza artist is a great listen. It's addicting, even if you can't understand the song. She's definitely worth a listen to. Brainstorm is a band from Latvia. You can listen to them here http://www.brainstorm.lv They have their 4th album in English coming out in January. I really-really love them and they mean a World to me and well once I start babbling I can't stop. :blush: To put it short: thanks to them I am who I am. :) Just give 'em a listen, ok. ;) Brainstorm and Coldplay are my air to breathe. :heart: Ps. Random fact: Anton Corbijn is a good friend of Brainstorm and designed their previous album (ADayBeforeTomorrow) and also took photos for the new album design.

I'm on a mission to promote my favourite bands at the moment... so don't be scared if you see so many new threads by me right now :P Now this is a thread is dedicated to... LONGVIEW. Okay, at first I was put off by their praising to God, blah blah blah, but... I couldn't help it, I kept seeing this commercial for their album 'Mercury' on MTV2 and I was hooked just by hearing the samples! I downloaded the album right away, top quality I tell ya. They're so indie and so... I don't know, vintage "feeling good" kind of music. :D

Is anyone else as unimpressed by the record industry's attempts to recreate the Brit-Pop days (Oasis, Blur, Pulp & Supergrass etc.) of the mid 90's as I am. The acts which are being hyped up today ie, Kaiser Chiefs, Bloc Party, Arctic Monkeys, Razorlight, Babyshambles, Franz Ferdinand, and Hard Fi can't hold a candle to the acts mentioned above, and I'm saying this as a person who's not a fan of Oasis et al. The worst of this terrible bunch are Hard Fi. How did they manage to blag a record deal?
