The Instrument Room

Does anyone have any experience with this software? As some of you may know, I make a lot of piano covers (http://www.youtube.com/kc89). I've been using Garageband to just directly record what I'm playing, and add a few minor effects. I'd like to go further though, to make my recordings sound more professional, especially if I'm layering and such. Is getting Logic a step in the right direction? Easy to learn? Will it make a difference? Any help would be appreciated!

Hey there, I'm looking for some good but not expensive Small-diaphragm microphones. I want to use them for acoustic guitars or as drum overheads. I actually have no clue about diaphragm-mics and so I thought I'll ask here. Can anybody recommend some manufacters or models? I found the AKG C1000S, which seems to be a good choice but I'm not sure about this. Cheers, approx

Does anyone happen to have the MIDI track to 'Lost!'? The only one I can find online is the 'Lost?' (acoustic piano) MIDI, but I'm looking for one with all the instruments. Anyone? Cheers :D

Just heard this really cool cover of "A Message" from X&Y and I wanted to see what some other Coldplay fans think of it. My brother recorded and produced the entire track, with Logic Pro I believe. A Message was never one of my favorite tracks, but this version has given me something of a new appreciation for it, although it is a pretty different style. Does anybody know what the electric guitar chords are towards the end? Can't find them anywhere, they look unusual shapes but they sound beautiful!

Does anyone have the bigger stronger tab for jonnys part? I've check on the forums and on google but can't find them anywhere. I can't believe no one has posted them or figured it out.

I would greatly appreciate it if someone could help me out with getting the same or similar guitar sound like jonnys in the Moses live 2003 performance. I know this same question has been posted on the forum millions of times but no one seems to have a good enough answer. I know it sounds silly, but when I get home from school I'll often unwind by playing some piano. I know several Coldplay numbers that I've figured out by ear to play and sing to: Paradise, Us Against the World, Princess of China, Fix You, Yellow, Clocks, Violet Hill, 'Til Kingdom Come, And a few non-Coldplay songs, but that's besides the point.
