Hey All... Hey, I was wondering if anyone could give me some tips on painting in the style of the Viva Paintings? I mean like...how to get the splattery messy (but wonderful) paint effect, or anything! I'm really stuck here! I've been trying for weeks, and it's looking bleak. So, if anyone can point me into the right track, it would be massively appreciated...thanks.

Hello everyone I am the lead singer, guitar player, and piano/synth player for my band and I was just wondering what kind of strings Chris Martin uses for many of the songs on the Live 2003 album. I love the DVD and the CD and listen to them all the time and I made a song similar to Coldplay's style and it would sound great if it just had that ring that Chris Martin's strings have. Hey all. I was wondering if anyone could help me Me and my band want to cover LITii. We've got the backing track... I just need tabs...and lots of them! first off, I'll be playing my acoustic, so I'll need chords to the song (I don't think A and F#m are the only chords in the entire song) I'll need bass tabs for my (rubbish) bassist, he can only read tabs... Drum tabs for my (amazing) drummer. I wonder where they could be? And the guitar tabs for Jonny's part. I know I need delay, reverb and high Treble, but is there anything more? See, me and a friend are going to give this to our wind band conductor and we need the music to transpose it (for saxophones, trombones etc...). I've been looking in several places and found some pianos, so which on should i buy? These are my options kind of in order of the ones that is most interesteing: 1. Yamaha Clavinova CLP-260 - 400 dollars I think this one is the one i'm going to buy, but i really need advice. This one is used though. 2. Yamaha NP-30 - 300 dollars This one was the first i looked on but apparently it doesn't have weight in the keys which is really important (Said store manager) 3. Casio PX120 - 600 dollars This one was the store managers tip for me, but it's really expensive. I need help! :dozey:

Hey all. I was playing on my Yamaha keyboard and I had a great song idea, I tried to record it, but it won't work. I did the process of holding the record button, then the track 1button, it just didn't work! I did try to reset the memory but it didn't work. Any help?

I need to cover LIT II for school, but we don't know what to do with the electric guitar. Our guitar player isn't very good, so we need simple chords which are not fast played. It doens't have to be exactly the same as that Jonny plays, but it has to sound right. :confused: Please help me :(

okay so im playing 'warning sign' into: C verse: F C G D (i think) cbf to write the chorus and i get to the bridge where chris sings; 'i miss you, so and im tired i should not have let you go' and then stops when the piano kicks in cheers

Hey Guys, I have a Fender Thinline Telecaster ('72 reissue) in a beautiful sunburst finish. I got this guitar a few months back and have come to the conclusion that 1) I can't play electric guitar and 2) It's more of a decoration in my place than anything else. It is a super comfortable guitar and sounds great. I have played it for maybe an hour in total. It has Dunlop Strap-Lok's installed on both ends (upper strap button was moved and filled - looks professionally done and doesn't affect playing at all - see pics.) Asking $550. Thanks!

Hi, i hope i'm posting at the right place. I'm just wondering how you can get your guitar to sound like jonny's in for example moses/one i love. the sound of his guitar is just amazing. I've an orange tiny terror with a strat loaded with emg dg's, and a new tele thinline 72. I know my amp isn't the best for imitating the coldplay sound, but i want to try anyways. I've got some pedals, but i think a new one or two won't hurt. Mxr micro amp, line 6 dl4, tubescreamer ts808 and a ts9 clone, boss cs-3. what settings i should use? any other tips?
