We play Viva la Vida in school, me on a clarinet. I couldn't believe it till our teacher gave us the notes. I just thought: This must be heaven in school. :stunned:

What are some good songs to start with? I only play piano... thanks!

I'm not sure what effects are used and I could use a bit of help, I'm guessing theres some heavy reverb and use of the MXR-Phase 90. Any other effects?

Prolly my me and my buddies favorite Coldplay song. Got a chance to add some keys to it and wow, can't believe it turned out pretty good. Hello Coldplay fans, I have a little question about a song I have. I have a song called "One I Love" and I have no clue where this was from what album. My bro put it in some random album which was A Rush Of Blood To The Head and found out it does not belong there. I like to put the songs in their right album so I don't get confused.:confused: Does anyone know where it goes to? If you have not heard of it then I'll put a file link so u can download it soon. Does anyone have a list of all the songs Jon uses alter tunings for live and what they are? I used to have one compiled, but It's way out of date now, and there are so many now, that it's a bit confusing.

I've recorded my new Fender Precision over my Ampeg for the first time... Ofcourse an Coldplay song!(You know, guy also on Fender Precision and his early years(Parachutes+AROBTTH) Ampeg!) Yes, there have been multiple posts on this already, but none of them have what I am looking for. Yes I have tried the only youtube "how to's" there are and I have the piano book but it just doesn't sound the same. Can someone put a video tutorial on how to play the Hardest Part acoustic-piano version that Chris Martin plays live... it is just too beautiful and I have to learn it but none of the tutorials out there at the moment or the chord book sound close enough... So after seeing all of Chris' painted guitars - I just had to do it to one of mine. I used blue painters tape all around the body of the guitar to make sure that I was not going to do any damage to the wood. After layering and layering and layering, I gave it a basic white coat of paint and used that as my canvas. The "art' was just me going by the seat of my pants..

Hey everyone. I am going camping in Wisconsin for a week in July. There will be 300 other teenage boys ( Boy Scouts ) , and I am thinking of taking my new Walden D550E with me to camp. However, I am afraid to leave it in my tent all day, because it could get stolen or damaged, but I'm afraid of leaving it in the car, because the heat could damage it. Any suggestions?
