I was looking through the wembley photos and found one of Jon playing a red thinline tele: I've never seen this one used by him in any other clip/photo. I was just wondering if anyone else had seen it as it is a a strange color of red, and I think it's cool looking...

Just curious, as I've found some tabs that say he does, and some that say he plays it standard. In some live clips it sounds like it could be, but I have trouble picking up tunings around the rest of the band and his effects.

Hey all. Ok...I'm in a band, we only have my room (which I couldn't fit a drumkit in) to practice in. I play guitar and keyboards, I have a (fairly rubbish) bassist who seemingly can't even play the Fix You bassline. And a pretty awesome drummer (who is also very into coldplay) I haven't sung with or infront of them yet (which I'm a bit nervous about). I really have no clue as to how I'm gonna teach them their parts to songs. I don't even play bass properly! Now, we do have a place we can book, but we need to know the songs before-hand, don't we? Hey all. I was experimenting on my keyboard with different time siginatures, and I found one that fitted almost perfectly with the Coldplay song. So, it was (believe it or not) 3/4. Yep, that's what it is, but, it has to be fast, and I do mean FAST. I reckon about 206 bpm... So there you have it! Post a reply for comments, or if I'm wrong, correct me!

Hey All. I was just listening to it and I thought... "Damn, I'd love to cover it!" But then I thought... "How on earth will I do this?" So, I was wondering, how will I go about covering this great song? I know that there's a lot of synths involved (and a time sig change at the start of the choorus). But, is there anything else I should know? Is there guitar playing? (If so, what effects are being used?) Bass tabs anybody? And, what's that clicky thing I can hear with the drums? I can hear it most at the very end... Thanks if anyone actualy bothers to try to find out these things!
