Today at my high school we found out that one of our fellow students killed himself last night. The announcement came in first period, and the rest of the day was pretty grim. No one talked much, and many people were seen comforting others. His sister was out of school, but many of his friends remained, some needing help to get through the day. I did not know the kid, never even heard his name. But it still is a terrible tragedy in our school community, and I feel so badly for his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers go to them, I hope they make it through the holidays with as little pain as possible. So please, if you know someone who is going through a roug…
