Black Rose
Only if your in an aisle/top of the stairs seat then you won't dispute anybody. And it won't work in the local, the lights go dim from the central control room and at the start of the adverts
Black Rose
That sounds positively prehistoric!! Where do you live? Jurassic Park?:laugh3: Still adverts = Magazine style adverts, nothing moving, just the image on the screen.
Darlene_Ihnfsa
The trick is to stay out in the foyer until the guy goes in to dim the lights and close the door etc.;) the problem is that at the cinema that i use to go, you can't see when the door is closed or opened, 'cause there's a big corridor between the door and the seats... so we waste 15 minutes of our day waiting for the film to start :dozey: the only cinema where you can see the door, is the one where my cousins use to go. Darlene_Ihnfsa
Some of the adverts are good, but some are rubbish adverts. More Art. the thing is that if you go very often to the cinema, is boring, because they show always the same adverts... :dozey:
Black Rose
They were running the same (crap) advert for some car for about 2 years:rolleyes:
Darlene_Ihnfsa
they could have offered the car to the person who had gone to that cinema more frequently during the 2 years, if he or she had been shaving money she or he spent on the cinema surely could had bought the car. :laugh2: dunno what's the cost of a cinema ticket there... here is between 5 and 9 euros, depend of the city and the day. We have student cards and i think we don't have the ticket cheap, not to cheap... i have a card of a bookshop-club that offer a ticket for free for each 2 persons i think or something like this, but is a contract that they have with some distribution enterprises and i think that the nearest one is in another city near mine, as my city is not too big... :(

Black Rose
Relating to an earlier question on methods to get out of the adverts in movies, when I saw the Simpsons the lights went down right at the start.

Black Rose
The main house lights went out, leaving only a few little lights on the sides/stairs/fire exits, so the people inside the screen could enjoy the movie.
