Atonement 9.5/10

Was a little apprehensive as i didn't enjoy all the book. the film is absolutely fantastic. its extremely well filmed, and remains really faithful to the novel (from what i remember). Some of the scenes were filmed so well, and i'd love to see some of the out-takes from the library scene which must have taken a hell of a lot of filming to get that angle sorted!!

Atonement looks good, might be a case of hiring it on dvd when it comes out.

Atonement was very good, and works fantastically well on the big screen. you wouldn't get the same atmosphere on dvd. the whole cinema was siletn, and all you could hear was the tiking of a clock as briony crept along the hall. the tense feeling through the cinema just kept building.

keira knightley seems to be improving with age too. she usully annoys me at some point in a film, but didn't at all this time

Death Sentence 7/10

just wonder why they put a weird conversation at end...

So your saying the next "Cinema it's the experience that counts" anti-private dvd adverts will be based on scenes from Atonement?

Run Fatboy Run - 9/10

Every bit as great as i'd expected it to be with plenty of really funny moments, and some rather tender ones, and it's almost impossible not to find yourself rooting for Dennis (Simon Pegg's character) :D

I'd say it was interesting, especially 'cause i'm studying about the second world war right now so all the extra info is a huge plus! And i also like Jude Law, haha. so yeah, watch it if you like war movies.
