The Constant Gardener - 10/10

absolutley fanatstic, .. the scenery of Kenya that was showed in the movie were BREATHTAKING.. one of the most beautiful countries i've ever seen on screen.. and the director Fernando Meirelles was brilliant in showing Kenya as it should have been shown.. the cast also did a great job.. i just adored the charecters as well, esp. Tessa..

 

It was. I'm glad you enjoyed it. It was my second fave film of 2005.:cool:

Brilliant. Interesting storyline, great acting (Bale is really underrated) and originality. Scarlett Johanssen was pretty pointless in it though.

Bale is the 2nd best actor out there atm, Norton's 1st

it's probably the hundredth time i've watched it :D, but this time it was with my mom who watched it for the first time.. and and i was like "if you don't like it, or a have a bad comment about it, not a word, mom. ok?!" lol but she didn't say anything coz she really liked it :)

its like the 10th time i watch it :P but the previous 9 times were when it first came out and i didnt knew english this well so i didnt find it that funny untill yesterday.

Um, it was supposed to be a horror movie. It sure wasn't.

Nothing happened during the first hour and the rest was just weird.

It made me laugh a couple of times though and that's why it gets 1 point!

Lupin The Third - The Pursuit Of Harimao

 

Good movie on the Lupin the Third character, and one of the few on lovefilm to rent. Good story-line, but it was let down by the English Dub and the lack of a Japanese sound-track with English Subs, which I find is better than the Dub sometimes. 7/10.

I don't really think I'm biased by the fact I love Woody Allen so damn much. It's an excellent movie, Allen and Johansson's dynamics steal the movie and make you laugh a lot. Another great movie by this great director.

i've seen all rocky's except for this one. i hope to see it soon along with pursuit of happyness and apocalypto. the series is amazing, you really should watch them all!!!!!

 

dreamgirls - it was very different from what i thought it would be, better actually. i anticipated a sort of very dramatic film but it was actually done perfectly despite the topics being heavy. the style of the movie is something different, with a hint of chicago technique which only added to the movie. the cinematography and directing of the movie is brilliant. all the stars were so impressive, shockingly good.
