The Time Machine 10/10 .. I've already seen it, more than 5 times, but I love it, it's definitely one of my favs. Great movie, and I like Guy Pearce quite a lot. :P

I think the end of Babel was great.

I usually like sad ends..but in this case I was expecting such turn of events. So the "happiness" behind it really came as a surprise.

(IMO)

Babel...my favorite movie of 2006.:) hope this movie could get some Golden Award.

I'm glad you like it :nice:

I agree...it should win all the Oscars it gets nominated in.

^ dont you think it's a bit too much

there are OTHER great movies this year, Miro, and it won't be fair that way!

No..it's not too much.

Just my opinion.

I think it's not the only great movie, but it's by far the greatest one. :smug:

It's been a while since I've seen such good & refreshing movie.

Y?

You have better?

What's your fav?

Well imo The Departed, Little Miss Sunshine & Babel (which i haven't see yet coz it hasn't been released here yet, but i know when a movie is great or not even before wathcing it) are the greatest movies this year. But i'm sure The Departed is gonna get some credit for it's brilliance.. :smug:, and even moer than Babel, it's just a little feeling i have!

However from the movies that i haven't seen, but i have a feeling that the Academy will get soem noms for them are perhaps, Bobby, All The Kings Men.. and several others that i forgot about, .. oh well the noms are coming out in jan 23rd .. so we'll have to wait for then to see. :D

The Prestige 8.5/10

Like what??

Rocky Balboa (VI) 7.5/10 - Good film. Much better end to the series than V. Not much in terms of story though. Contains classic montage action :D

Like what??

Nothing serious, but my twisted mind suggests me that it didn't end there...

maybe there was still some Angier around

:P

Night at the museum 8/10 - Surprisingly good family film. Great comedy actors, nice story.

Finding Neverland

10/10

I just absolutely love this film! :nice:

I completely agree with you! It's such a beautiful movie. I've watched it 5 times or something already, possibly more.

The Nightmare Before Christmas - 8/10 it was quite creative and had a nice plot.

Beavus and Butthead Do America - 6.5/10 surprisingly okay but I think I got stupider when I watched it.

Latter Days - 7/10 I didn't watch it all so I didn't really get into it but it was a nice film nonetheless.

^ Finding Neverland is perfect in every way

Good Will Hunting - 10/10

I can't believe I only just saw it!!!

^ edit: Ohh i LOVE that movie.... great great one!

A Lot Like Love - 8.5/10 .. what a beautiful & original love story, i really didn't expect to be like this, but it truned out to be a great Romantic Comedy, and possibly one of my favs in that gener. :nice:

I only saw that a few months back but I loved it. It's really good.

^ I think I've seen A Lot Like Love but I can't place it... Who was in it?

^ I thought that was the one but I wasn't sure... Yeah I've seen it, it was a better movie than I expected, actually.

Butterfly effect 2 - 7/10

I dont like when the actors of a trillogy are changed by movie to movie too much...This one is nice...I liked the 1st one most though...

Saw 3....8/10..it was fucking sick ass...I mean as in extremely bad....far worse than the first or second one..but it was still good!!!

The Constant Gardener - 10/10

absolutley fanatstic, .. the scenery of Kenya that was showed in the movie were BREATHTAKING.. one of the most beautiful countries i've ever seen on screen.. and the director Fernando Meirelles was brilliant in showing Kenya as it should have been shown.. the cast also did a great job.. i just adored the charecters as well, esp. Tessa..
