And it was fucking boiling under the hot sun. I drank so many bottles of water, luckily they were giving out free water. And if I wanted to go buy food or go to the toilet (port-o-potty) it took over an hour to get to where it was because there were so many people in the way

Here is an unattractive pic of Sam Roberts from the show

Here is Wayne Coyne from The Flaming Lips, I missed part of their set because I was out getting food. They had huge inflatable things and people dressed up in weird costumes.

And here is my Justin. At the beginning of his set people were being rude and booing and throwing things but as his set went on and people saw that maybe he wasn't as shitty as they thought he would be they weren't as rude and stopped yelling at him.

The one thing I learned from this show is to never again go to a concert that I am too young to go too. Too many gross old drunk/stoned people. Creepy drunk men hitting on us, drunk old women hitting on the young guys. Ewwwww.

One of the funny moments of the day:

Mike Bullard presenting one of the acts and someone in the audience threw a muffin on stage and he was like "wouldn't want to get stuck in a back alley with that guy, he might attack me with a timbit" hahahah that made me laugh.

I went to the Sarstock as well. I got there at 430am to get in line, they didn't let us in until after 8am. The show started at noon. It was a really hot day, with just a bit of wind, so you can imagine.. it wasnt comfortable, but it could of been worse I am sure. We got seats around section 103, which was just by the water vendor, where were you Sweety_230?

The show was great. I went mainy to see The Flaming Lips, Sam Roberts, Ac/Dc and the Rolling Stones. Half of the bands that were there, I wasnt really interested in seeing, but everyone put on a great show. When Justin Timberlake went on stage people were booing him off, throwing water bottles and other things up on stage trying to hit him, people had their middle fingers up in the air. Some people also had some nasty signs like, "Eat Shit Timberlake', 'GO HOME' and the sorts. I don't like the guy's music either, but people were being a bit disrespectful. I mean, it was a benefit concert, he came for 'free'. It was nice of him to come I think, and he did put on a good performance. He came on stage with the Rolling Stones near the end and sang "Miss You' with Mick Jagger, I didn't see this however because I left early to beat the rush.

The Flaming Lips were awesome. Defintely one of the most entertaining performances that day. I thought they were great. Wayne Coyne is so charimastic and he has to get the audience smiling, that is his goal. They had people in animal costumes up on stage, like they do at all their shows. And he was throwing around this guy balloon, trying to get the crowd motivated. Each act only got like 20 minutes because there were soo many people performing, like 14 acts. It was too bad that the Flaming Lips didn't get more time, they only played 3 songs. I was impressed regardless.

I got home at around 1230am. I hadnt slept the night before so that I could get there at 430am, so I was exhausted. I think I got heat stroke/sun stroke at the show and I was feeling really bad by the end of the night. Like I said I left early to beat the huge swarms of people leaving at the end. There were over 450,000 people at the show. It was a really good idea let me just say because it was difficult leaving then, alot of people left early.

Sarstock was awesome. :)

I was near tower 104 behind the barrier thingy.

And I was really disappointed with how people acted towards Justin Timberlake, it's really rude and disrespectful and Toronto will get a name for having inconsiderate audiences and bands won't come anymore. I know that's a little overdramatic but you get my point, if the audience acts like that they shouldn't be surprised if some acts stop coming here. But Justin was pretty cool about it afterwards when he said that if he were in the audience wanting to see AC/DC he would have thrown water bottles at himself.

I left during AC/DC around 8:00ish and it still took me a loooong time to get home.

It was worth the experience!

Sarah, did you see Justin's new video?? HELLO!! hahahaa..he's mighty fine in that video!!

I was upset to hear about the audience's behaviour as well. I mean, he was there supporting Toronto and that's how we repay him.. very sad.. but i like his hat!

Have you Toronto people been reading what others have been saying on the Much message boards? Everyone is bitching about how the 'live' broadcast of the sarstock was nothing but...live. Thay a lot of the time they were just showing old videos and interviews while bands were playing up on stage. A lot of people say they are cancelling their subsciptions to Much More Music and so on.

I keep saying, if you had wanted to SEE the concert, you should of gone, and quit your bitching!

and did you guys hear about the whole deal with them giving out water for free??

well they were being real jerks about it at the concert and i went with 9 other people so one of us would go up and try and get water for everyone, but most of the time they wouldn't believe us and only give us one or two bottles!! AND to top it all off my father read in the newspaper the next day that it turned out they didn't districute HALF of the free water they were going to!!!!! that is so much freaking water that will probably go to waste!!! i was so upset/mad when i found that out!! it's so wasteful!
