oh, I wouldn't say that. I think she's a far more competent actor than Daniel or Rupert. and while slightly biased, I thought she did very well in ballet shoes. Watson's the only of the three who i think has a realistic shot at a successful acting career following the series.

I agree. Maybe Rupert has a shot, but Daniel is too wooden of an actor, he is so awkward.

 

I think Emma Watson is a really good actress actually...her looks are just an added bonus.;)

Can't vouge for mc, but I always found her genuinely talented for someone who had a very unorthodox route into acting. They were only kids through the first few films, but I thought she did very well throughout GOF and OOTP. She almost always gets the best reviews out of the trio from critics. She's not world class, but she's not keanu reeves either :P.

Aw no... Emma CANNOT act... The funny thing is she USED to be good at acting... She was great in Prisoner of Azkaban. Then she just went downhill from there- Her acting just involved heavy breathing and talking like she's permanently in a state of panic. And don't get me started on the crazy eyebrows!

 

Daniel's a bit stiff, too, but he's improved a LOT, and Rupert's been great since the beginning.

lol, everyone brings up her eyebrows, yet they never struck me as being forced or distracting. I've noticed they're no less "crazy" when she's out of character...so I guess it's just a habit. To say her acting just involves a constant state of panic is a bit of an exaggeration. You didn't care for her in GOF? Oh well...Out of the trio, Dan's the only one I've had some complaints about. He did great in GOF, but POA was really weak as were parts of OOTP...but as you say, he's improving gradually. Rupert's tough to judge since he's rarely allowed extended, serious scenes...but he's definitely pulled his weight.

As weird as it may seem, I'm basing my opinion on her abilites, not because I have the need to make fun of every good-looking person out there cos I'm sooo jealous. I was kidding. I didn't really mean to imply that all girls are just jealous of actresses, there are just some girls here who have been known to say she's not that great just to contradict a bunch of drooling guys (myself usually included.)
