THE **I LOVE HARRY POTTER** THREAD

Featured Replies

I was coincidentally discussing the same thing with my friend this morning, actually. She and I always go to the midnight showings of the HP movies, and we ususally obsess about them for months before hand. :P But it dawned on both of us today that we haven't even really discussed the upcoming movie once yet, just because it's taken it so long to come out. :disappointed:

^^Your signature it's hilarious!

but yeah the movie it's taking so long to come out.

only good news is there will be a much shorter gap between this and DH pt.1 Since they're already a good ways into the filming.

I'll go check. I wanted to be only a few months apart. But I think it was 9 months.

*returns from wikipedia*

Yeah part 1 is slated for November of 2010 (presuming they don't push it back to July again) and Part 2 for July 2011.

Most likely it'll be like that.. heh..

They need to re-cast Dumbledore for the final film(s)

why there's going to be another actor playing Dumbledore? I'm confused

No, I think Nick is saying that Michael Gambon is a terrible Dumbledore, and that they should re-cast the role and get someone who is more... Dumbledore-ish. :P

But either way, that doesn't even matter, considering Dumbledore's character won't even be in DH.

well, except the end of course (and I'm sure a million billion flashbacks of his death in Harry's dreams )

True. And the bit with his eye in the beginning, although I doubt a) they'll include that, and b) they'll actually show his whole face. :P

Yesss, but I'm sure if they included it in the movie, those rare and silly people who have never read the books would automatically think it was Dumdledore's, like Harry did.

I think he does allright for Dumbledore.. although I would have liked the first actor to have done the rest of them too..

well that's what I meant.. hahaha obviously he can't because he died..

hahaha ok:lol:
