^oh, I'll have to read that part. I'm going back home for the day tomorrow, so maybe I can finally get my hands back on GOF...

Gambon better not have screwed up the tower scene after all this waiting!!!

:thinking2:

:veryangry:

 He's just such a bad Dumbledore. He always seems like he has no compassion whatsoever for Harry or anyone else, which is the exact opposite of how Dumbledore is supposed to be.

I just hope we don't hit dejavu before he dies.

"DRACO!!!! :veryangry: DID YOU PUT :censored: HARRY'S :censored: NAME INTO THE GOBLET OF FIRE!?!!?! :evil2: AND DON'T YOU HAVE SOME :censored: STUDYING TO DO!!!!! :furious: "

I don't think so. He is a very good actor, and I think he will fully understand what the role requires at that part.

I disagree. I think for certain parts, Gambom is better.

Neville's a potato:lol: (and why does he sound like Gollum?)

"floppy-wanded dementor buggerer":lol::lol::lol:

the ending!

You're not crazy, but unlike characters like Hermione, I never had much trouble keeping to my original image of dumbledore. Not that's it's anyone's fault, but Gambon and especially the hair styles he's worn in the last two films, aren't all that close to the Dumbledore I imagined. Harris was closer, but vocally, neither sounded quite the way I had pictured from the book.

The trio is much tougher since I've become so accustomed to them in the movies...and Alan Rickman's portrayal of Snape is so distinct, it's hard to shake that image as well.

Nothing major, a lot of talk about new trailer footage to be seen in coming weeks...

However! an MTV site has released two new HBP set photos! (seen below)

Oh, and according to Emma's website, she officially begins filming Deathly Hallows tomorrow!

when did you first read all the books (like ages in your life), and what was your reactions to the each book the first time you read them?

I think I was probably 9 or 10 when I started. Back then I actually read with my Mom, we would alternate reading paragraphs back and forth, but it wasn't long aterwards that I started reading mostly on my own.

There was some gap between that and COS, after which I just read the next book as soon as it was published. I must say I was kind of so-so on the series at the very start. The whole description of the Dursley's, the town and privet drive didn't seem very interesting... But I did like quidditch, and the all of the tasks they had to get through to reach the sorceror's stone (chess was my favorite). But it wasn't until COA that I was really hooked.

When did you start?

COA?

I started so long ago, maybe when I was like 8-10. My brother got me started on the books, told me little things before reading like how Dumbledore was the only wizard Voldemort feared, so that idea was in my head form the start.

I read the first 4 in elementary school, so I obviously missed out on a lot since I was young. I lost interest in the wait for OOTP. I came back a few years later and attempted to read OOTP, but the first chapter was too boring and I never made it past there.

Then I won tickets to see OOTP movie in theaters, it was good. So about a year ago I decided to try the book again. Then I sped through the final three.
